Vikings getting some deserved time off with bye week

Full story: TwinCities.com

The Vikings' players stormed out of Winter Park on Monday afternoon, many with the gusto of middle-schoolers dismissed for the summer, bound for sunnier destinations such as Miami and Los Angeles.

I've always disliked the bye week because I miss my team. This year I'm happy that the guys'll get some time off to relax, recover, and get even better.

I heard the queens will need some relaxation
after cheating their way through an easy schedule?

When they come back they will get owned by the
lowly lions! and then downhill from there!

The Packers will win the division once BF suddenly
retires when he calls from home saying he has
no more to prove after beating the Packers twice.

Is Jake The Packer a comedian? Poor, poor Packer fans, they no longer have the magic at quarterback after they cut Brett Favre loose. Face it Jake, you are a typical, whiny, pathetic Packer fan who just can't get over the facts that Brett is now a Viking, the Vikings swept your Packers and your Packers just aren't that good. Good luck facing Baltimore, Pittsburgh and San Francisco, sounds like a 7-9 season for the over rated Packers in 2009.

Jack is a comedian. No one, not even Packers fans, could possibly post something that stupid.

Personally, i'm a little disappointed that none of the players are going to Disney World... i figured we'd have at least one player joke about that.

But thats fine. I'm sure We will have plenty of them taking a trip there in February after the Super Bowl.:)

All jacks aside......perfect week for the bye after three tough games. Take nothing away from Rodgers guys. Give him an O-line and a better running game and he's going to give the Vikings fits in the future. Detroit, Seattle and, Chicago all at home after the week off? 10-1 sounds good.

I love how most Queens fans LOVE our QB's

You can't have Aaron though and keep on dreaming
since your team has NO FUTURE after the silver fox leaves
after this season.

I think we all also know who owns the Lombardi Trophy?

Do you Queens even know what a Lombardi Trophy looks like? I doubt not!

And please refrain from swearing it only makes the other Queens fans here
look like bums!

If Favre is "your" QB why did you all boo him? Because he is OUR QB stupid! And we will sign Aaron Rodgers if he is available because that is how free agency works. You think the Pack has a future?? Not with that team and GM.

Easy! BF.

Who was your QB when you last........oh Queens never won one!

Sometimes Packer fans have to remind Queens fans to come down
from being on cloud nine.

Just helping out the best I can like former Packer QB BF to TRY
to help the Queens win a "SuperBowl". I doubt he will though since
the body is weaker then the mind.

Remember the Queens tried it with a former superbowl winner too...
......Jim McMahon. How'd that work out for you guys?

Yes. Right now it's the Pittsburgh Steelers...and, come January, it may just be a certain team in Purple and Gold. It certainly won't be the Green and Gold.

We'll see how weak you think our 1st half schedule was when the Packers are finished being beaten to a pulp by Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

Everyone gets to go on Vacation except Pat n Kevin. Their Vacation is in Washington with Congress. What a waste of tax dollars this is.. Goodell needs to get a life beside trying to become a bully of the NFL. He needs to go. Look Goodell you were in the wrong for not protecting our players and espcially Kevin n Pat..

Ok, ignoring the obviously higher educated comments of Jack off the Pack, the Vikings need to make sure they take care of the injured guys. Winfield can rest another week, I don't want to see him play against Detroit. Everyone rest, come back next week and get focused for the Lions and look at the second half of the season one game at a time. I know I'm filling this comment with the same old 'rah rah' generic comments, but another 7-1 half of ball and we're battling New Orleans for home field throughout. Skol Vikes!

Let me be the first to say nice job on the front eight Coach! You take all the blame when sheet goes wrong so you have earned the accolades for a tremendous start this year... don't change a thing. You have done a fantastic job of building a class organization in 4 years. All of you fair weather fans go suck an egg.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Aries

One of the family needs plenty of love and attention today, but the trouble is that you may not be able to spare the time. If so, you'll be consumed with guilt and self-reproach, and this may become so strong that it casts a blight over the day. So do what you can to let them know you're thinking about them, but resist the temptation to berate yourself over things you can't change.
