The Packers are doing the right thing - you fall into the Super Bowl, the next thing you want to do is establish a dynasty. And with Aaron Rodgers at QB, the best one in the NFC North, who is still young, the Packers have a great chance to do just that. They also have some nice young pieces on defense, with BJ Raji, Clay Matthews, and that cornerback Truman Williams (I think).
Some scouts like the Ponder move, others don't. I don't think Ponder will be a bad QB, but I also don't think he's going to be a great one either. He's got a lot of pressure on him (early draft selection, veteran team, new stadium - potentially). He is a smart QB. The question is, can we find an offensive system that he can succeed at, and do we have the right pieces around him to make that happen. I still think we're missing a wideout.
I love with the Lions can become with LeShore at RB, Best a 3rd down back, Titus Young to keep coverages off of CJ, and the interior line of Suh and Fairly. If the Lions can get help in the secondary, this is going to be a very scary team to face.
The Bears are even older than the Vikes at some key spots, and the jury is still out on Cutler. The Bears also don't have a wideout that scares anybody, and that has to be a concern going forward.
My body is adrift at sea.

Do you mean that winning a Super Bowl thing? BTW that happens to be the GREEN BAY PACKERS record 13th NFL Championship in case you didn't know. You Viking fans know so little about winning.
The first 10 don't really count because there were only 3 other teams in the league, bet you miss those leather helmets.

You Viking fans LOVE to display how incredibly stupid you are, don't you? More than half of the Packers 13 titles, making them the world's best football team a record number of times, have been from the 1960s to present. You know, the 1960s when the Vikings began their fifty years of futility and failure. And yes you idiot, there was football before the pathetic Vikings joined the league. Before the likes of the Vikings watered down the talent in the NFL the entire league was smaller. It was essentially a league of all stars. The kind of crap players on the Vikings would be lucky to be sitting on the Packers bench if there weren't so many teams now. So thank you for pointing out how good the Packers have been no matter the era, and even when the competition was much better.

Your team shouldn't even exist. The NFL had to make special rules so you could keep your team that couldn't afford to survive with legit capitalist competition. Kind of makes you guys commies doesn't it. The GreenBay Pinkos. Socialism sure seems to work in greenbay. Try competing with the Vikes on a even playing field for once in you life. Give up your special rules and find an owner to foot the bills, then you can talk. We'll keep Ziggy.

The Packers are the only corporately owned team. What is socialist about corporations? Once again you Viking fans can't resist displaying your ignorance and stupidity. There is no reason that the NFL couldn't allow all teams to be corporately owned. You're simply too stupid to understand that the NFL made a choice not allow corpoate ownership. The Packers already were corporately owned at the time the NFL decided to make private ownership a rule, and therefore were allowed to maintain their corporate status. So moron, tell me why that makes the Vikings perennial losers. Don't the pathetic Vikings also compete against plenty of other privately owned teams that have managed to compete against the Packers?

I suppose the Packers domination of the league with the record 13 titles does make it seem that the Packers have an unfair advantage. What exactly is the Vikings excuse for sucking? Are you saying the Vikings suck because the Packers are great? In that case, I agree with you.

BTW you can keep Ziggy, I'm fine with being a Packer owner. It seems to work just fine. The big bonus is getting to hear whiny infantile Viking fans like you cry about how the Packers have an advantage. The Packers do have an advantage. LOL

I see you've hidden your location. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm Whats up with that? I guess if I were writing some of the stuff that you do on a Vikings Blog, I wouldn't want anyone to know where I was stationed either.
