The Packers are doing the right thing - you fall into the Super Bowl, the next thing you want to do is establish a dynasty. And with Aaron Rodgers at QB, the best one in the NFC North, who is still young, the Packers have a great chance to do just that. They also have some nice young pieces on defense, with BJ Raji, Clay Matthews, and that cornerback Truman Williams (I think).
Some scouts like the Ponder move, others don't. I don't think Ponder will be a bad QB, but I also don't think he's going to be a great one either. He's got a lot of pressure on him (early draft selection, veteran team, new stadium - potentially). He is a smart QB. The question is, can we find an offensive system that he can succeed at, and do we have the right pieces around him to make that happen. I still think we're missing a wideout.
I love with the Lions can become with LeShore at RB, Best a 3rd down back, Titus Young to keep coverages off of CJ, and the interior line of Suh and Fairly. If the Lions can get help in the secondary, this is going to be a very scary team to face.
The Bears are even older than the Vikes at some key spots, and the jury is still out on Cutler. The Bears also don't have a wideout that scares anybody, and that has to be a concern going forward.
