I think we will have a shot this sunday ,now will see if we are pretender or a contender...I would rather watch a team beat us than give the game away like the last 2 weeks and many games last year....GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!1111

When the going gets tough, the tough take some sucker-punching prima donna and send him down to Mayo for repairs. Skol Vikings.

I wonder how good this team would be right now if in 2007 the Vikes had taken Brady Quinn instead of AP.Quinn would be starting his 2nd year and probably on his way to a great career, certainly better than T Jacks has gone so far.AP would not be here but lets be objective, the guy is great when he is on the field. Problem is he misses too many games.Chester Taylor is a good back and durable and would be OK as the starter. We have all seen without a QB it doesnt matter how good your RB is, you can only go so far. What do you guys think?

true..ap does miss some games but, i can't say i would make that trade ...one thing we could do is look at drafting a qb in every draft...the fudgepackers seem to do that a lot and it has paid off for them. my one fear is that with our current lineup and you know who at the helm, we will be like the sanders lions of a decade ago. for now i think we should make the most of ap while not over utilizing him and getting him injured until, we can find a coach who knows how to get dressed in the morning without assistance....go vikes!!!

I think AP would be able to stay more healthy (in theory) if chilly diddnt use him as a battering ram for 35 plays a game. He needs to find 1 or 2 more plays than run AP up the gut.

Here's the thing....I love AP....but when we drafted him we didn't need a RB. We needed a high draft QB. I love the new pass rusher.....when we spent freeagent money to get him we already had a great defense. The money needed to spent on a solid starting QB. The viking last QB that resembled a starter was BJ. We don't need a guy that throws for 350 and 4 TD's.....we need a guy that can get us 225-275 and 1 TD per game....the DEf and RB's will get the rest....we don't need a superstar....just a true starter. When you see guys like Kurt Warner riding the pine when the season starts don't tell me there aren't any viable options.....who here wouldn't start Garcia over Ferrotte.....there are many guys available that are solid QB's
