Hall is not the coach, and should be a bit more sensitive to what Petrino directs. That being said, have seen little if any leadership on the part of management this year. Would have to agree with Hall that some decisions just seem senseless -- like they are from a novice in the NFL (i.e., pulling Harrington a couple of weeks back).

Lay a lot of blame on Rich McKay and the owner. These guys knew they had a 'ONE MAN' team. They allowed the 'ONE MAN' to get away with a lot of nonsense; they failed to make any valid plans of what would happen if their ONE MAN might get hurt, or get in more trouble; and then, they traded away the backup quarterback that has proven to be a credible starter in Houston! And then, they go out and get a college coach to further appease a spoiled QB -- who then gets indicted! A broken team??? YES INDEEDY, and it is probably going to get a lot worse before it starts getting better! Who -- in their right mind -- will want to play for the Falcons? What Falcons would now like to be traded -- who are worth a hoot? More importantly, who is going to pay to go to the Dome to watch bad coaching, bad execution, and no body really caring??

Mr. Blank, you have a mess, and your front office was right in the middle making it! Need a GM who is a leader! Do you have Bobby Beathard's number???? Get him out of retirement!!

I am a white 37 buisness owner, the only reason I watch this year is to see the defense. Grady was my favorite player. my past 2 favorites were Jessie Tuggle and then William Andrews. I been around a while.
I love the fact that Mckay came on and fired the only coach to ever take us to the big dance ( Reaves ) and then fires a coach that is now the head coach for dallas cowboys ( phillips )

I have to agree with Hall. They need to send the college coach back to college. What the Falcons need is a PRO NFL COACH. Mr. Blank I will be the coach for the team for the next 5 years for half what you paid Petino! Draw tickets from the fans at the gamne to be the quaterback! I can do better then the 3 you have on the team now and I am a 51 year old grandma with an injured leg!

By the way WE NEED GRADY JACKSON! The young thugs have no idea what a PRO BOWL Player is as a Rookie.

The Falcons are 1-6...there are no PRO Bowl Players on this team including Hall!! Just a bunch of has beens...correct that! They never were great players.

The boys that play for the NE Patriots now there is a team loaded with Pro-Bowl Players...

Arthur needs to sell the Falcons and go back to selling nuts, bolts, paint, plumbing supplies...things he understands!!!

Boy...do the Falcons stink or what?

In all fairness to Hall, what wise decisions have the Falcon's management made the past 24 months?

More recently, what smart decisions have the coaching staff made during the 2007 season????

Could it be that management and coaching has raised the frustration level just too high because they -- management and the coaching staff -- do not have a clue as to what they are doing??

wheeljc is so rite, and Judge you so wrong.Hall is one of the top five CB's in the NFL; and he still 23. I'ma teen female fan, and I know that theirs no such thing as a "shut down corner"..... its impossible. No corner can hold a WR to 0 catches. And Hall IS the Falcons best player, if they even think of trading him, the results would be catastrophic. If you can hold Steve Smith to one catch your an elite player....and then get schooled by Amani Tommer, and still produce Pro Bowl stats {11 solo tackles, 1 INT} then it wont matter.....because thiers no such thing as a "SHUT DOWN CORNER".

Hall needs to keep his mouth shut. He gets to voice his opinion by not signing a contract. He works for the falcons, not the other way around.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Leo

Why are you still fighting, Leo? Everyone else went home a long time ago, but you're still here pounding your fists on the table. Although you don't want to admit it, accepting defeat may be your most practical option at this point. Sometimes it's just easier to move on than to keep up the fight. When you're forced to restructure, at least you have a chance to redefine. YouÕl get the opportunity to start with a clean slate, so use it to your advantage.
