I gotta feeling that it will be Burgess, Ellis, and Scott for sure with Richardson, Gunheim, and Shaughnessy battling it out for the final 2 spots.

Yeah Tex, I'm hoping they keep Burgess around for this his contract year. He and Ellis would make for nice bookends, while Scott and the youngsters develop for another year. More picks for the D.B.'s as well.

Yeah, I'm really bummed now since Stryker Sulak has already been waived and I've been wanting us to draft a defensive tackle for 2 years now and Sulak has become a wasted pick and I'm sure there was a decent late rounder on the board. I'm just gonna trust that it was the coaching and the DTs we have now will do better; Tommy Kelly is the only one I'm sold on right now.

i've always liked t kelly. i really do not think he deserved that much money but more power to him and i hope he puts more power to the RAIDERS now.

When he first came on the scene in 2004 I knew he was gonna be a good player for us for years to come. I was surprised that he got such a big contract, I just hope he can earn every bit of it. Warren shows flashes from time to time and Sands was good until he got a long term contract but since then he hasn't been the same. I really hope the new defensive staff can help us stop the run better. I've heard that they're passed passing Ds haven't been that great, but they haven't had a shut down corner either.

I like the fact that they did not hesitate to let Sulak go when they signed Ellis. In the past, they would be too concerned with how dropping your 6th round pick would look to the "experts".

It's still a wasted pick if you ask me. I think they overdrafted at defensive end and we could've used that pick on another player at another position.

I wish we could have an interior pass rusher like Rod Coleman to go with Kelly. I really miss him; he was amazing.

That's the biggest problem in professional sports; they get big $$$ contracts before they earn the $$$ and they don't work out.
