Eagles need more pressure on quarterback

I don't think pressure on the QB is the key to stopping the steelers. the eagle will need to stop the run. Ben isn't going to throw much if FWP keeps grinding out 4-5 yard carries. Also they will have to find a way to cover Miller and Ward when they blitz. Ben is a great QB in the pocket but once he gets flushed he's even better.

The Steelers will not have a problem shutting down the eagles running game. what they may have a problem with is a healthy McNabb. He is playing great so far. If the game turns into a shoot out advantage eagles, if not the steelers walk away with an important win on the road.

Hey Bob how's it going buddy? I see you Bill and the rest are keeping the fight alive! I agree with your take on sundays game. If we can keep pounding it with willie and our new guy mendenhall (whens he going to see some carries) we got us a heckuva chance.

Even more so than just stopping the run is keeping Ben in predictable situations. 2nd and long and third and long make it much easier to defend the Steelers. Success on first down, be it by run or pass, will dictate how successful the Steelers are in conerting 3rd downs and sustaining drives.
