I hope it comes back to Terre Haute obviously. The Colts are fine guests as are all of the visitors, literally from around the world.
If the Colts come back here, we will welcome them. I know Coach Dungy likes it here, but he may go.
I am a Season Ticket holder because of the camp as are a bunch more.
If the Colts don't return, we thank them for the time we did have.

where is the hell is shepardsville IN ? Anyways, the terre haute camp is the best one offered by location and the facility to use. I hope mr. Polian doesnt move it away because southern INDIANA gets no attention anyway. We cant get the Bill Polian radio or tv show. He needs to help us get his touch on the weeks game.

Moving to Central Illinois would be the wise move. Lots of Colt fans in the area and a great way to expand the fan base. Besides I'm tired of driving to Terre Haute. :-)

I CAN NOT believe the post of some of you. If the Colts were NOT here in INDY our economy would really suck!!!!!! They bring so much revenue.

AND of course a frickin PATS fan had to post here with his B.S. and they wonder ( obviously they dont care either) why they are thought of the way they are. No rocket scientist needed here.

I LOVE the Colts and would really like to see them practice at Butler, keep them in the city.

I don't know where Shepardsville IN is either. That came up automatically instead of Terre Haute.

This is a lie. The Colts do not bring in anywhere near the revenue to cover the what we pay them. It is outright theft what we pay to the Colts.

If the Colts left, Indy's economy would be better off. Sports teams add nothing to a city's economy. All economic studies have found this.

I just love it when you and those like you get all wound up over the Colts. They are here, they are staying here and our new stadium is so cool.
Are you a net tax user or payer??? Most of the ones who bitch the most are the ones who have more kids than they can afford and want my tax dollars to feed them and pay for their books.

Why Terre Haute? That place is terrible. Spent 10 months in that dump for work and hated every minute of it. I think it is an embarrassment that the Colts would practice their for the summer workouts.

I take it you've never been to a Colts camp at Rose-Hulman have you?
Let's see, only Mike Ditka and Ron Jaworski both proclaimed the Colts camp in Terre Haute was the BEST camp in the NFL. Oh, of course you can't forget Peter King of Sports Illustrated who said Colts camp in Terre Haute had the best sight lines and there were no seats closer to watch a practice/scrimmage in the NFL.
So let's see, do we take the expert opinion of Ditka, Jaws, and Peter King or JPS.

...maybe the Purdue Team could "do us a solid" and play a playoff game or two for us in return, we could always use a win in the playoffs...

Typical response from a Pats fan...who cares where the Pats practice...and BTW a lot of teams do not practice in their stadium... Maybe nobody wants the Pats around to blemish their reputations by being around them...you know that taping stuff

You are always pulling this junk. If you don't like the stadium, start up a club and talk about it with all of the other miserable Hoosiers.

Not ALL economic studies come to your conclusion. There are so many external and internal measures that they simply cannot be calculated into simple numbers. You can be correct in saying that stadiums often don't live up to the political billing but the overall quality of life benefits are not measurable. Plus, these studies factor in cities like NYC, Chicago, and Dallas. A fair analysis can only be done if comparing like cities such as Nashville, Pittsburg, and Indy. Quality of life in cities like these would be greatly skewed if not for professional teams.

Without professional sports, downtown Indianapolis would have absolutely no national allure. The downtown would be virtually nonexistent (see Louisville and Toledo). Taking sports out of town would not derail your town but it certainly does more to enhance its overall social value than it does to hurt it.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Pisces

You should have a lucky break today when fate steps in and takes a hand. For instance, a situation may seem to be heading for disaster when you're suddenly bailed out in ways you would never have imagined. However, this doesn't mean you can take foolish risks in the hope that things will work out all right because there's no guaranteeing that they'll do so automatically.
