Maybe Marv bruised his knee while putting on Peyton's panties. Seriously, this is the NFL, people play with broken bones and other injuries all season long. Even Dustin Pedroia, a baseball player, played the last month of the season with a broken bone.
Toughen up Marv!

Paulee wrote: <quoted text> Hey Scum Bum look back at the tape both times that you beat us go get there . Count how many times the refs let Brady have all day long to throw down the field in the past 2 minutes not calling all the holdig the frontline was doing......... when they didnt get into the Super Bowl campare the numbers that game they lost for holding...... That means your cheating ass team is only as good as the refs will allow...... I cant wait until Payton gets this schedule next year. Brady will go down like cold soup in the drainer at the Soup Line Wow, now that is rich, rich I say. You dare point the finger at the Pats for cheating just a week after what was perhaps the most lopsided officiating seen this or any year. Couple that with the officiating in the AFC championship and you haven't a leg to stand on (reference the interference call on Hobbs in the endzone for face guarding vs. the no-call for the absolute mugging of Caldwell in the fourth quarter). The 12th man (men) on the field in your precious dome isn't the fans or the sound system, it's the men in zebra stripes. Last week's calls were abominable and the shenanigans began before the game even started (with the double coin toss). The only reason the Colts were in that game was because of the refs and Colts players "cheating" as you'd call it. Was it cheating when the refs called that a reception and made the Pats waste a challenge? Was is cheating when Clark tackled Harrison in the endzone (no call)? Was it cheating when Jackson went helmet-to-helmet on Watson or when Sanders did it to Moss (both no calls)? Was it cheating when Boiman assaulted Faulk in the endzone (no call, see a trend here?)? Was it cheating when Hobbs got called for pass interference on Wayne even though he played the ball and was ahead of him? And on that note, please don't cite the cutoff as PI because that call would never have been made outside of the dome, ever. Was it cheating when 2 Colts hit Moss late after a missed reception (no call yet again)? Was it cheating when Freeney wasn't called off sides? Was it cheating when Brackett hooked Faulk (no call)? Was it cheating when a Colt ripped at the head and ripped off the helmet of Colvin (no call)? Was it cheating when Boiman kicked a lineman in the back at the end of a play (no call)? Was it cheating when Moss was called for PI in the endzone when both players were handfighting? And finally was it cheating when the defensive line tried simulated the snap during the kneeldown (of course, another no call)? Face it. Without the assistance of the refs, the Colts can't match up against the Pats, and Manning sure as hell can't match up against Brady. We had the Boston Strangler. You guys have the Indy Strangler, as that should be the moniker Peyton goes by considering all the choking he has done in his career.

The bottom line is that Marvin is 35 years old. While still a great player, I think it's time for the Colts to think about getting another wide receiver. They can either make a trade with someone this year or go through the draft next year (Mannigham from MI maybe...) and get a quality WR. We're thin at the WR position and having someone like Marvin who gets doubled a lot opens things up for other receivers. Just my two cents!

Really Marvin, there are a lot of treatments for yeast infections out there. Suffering from candidiasis (sounds a lot like candy-a** doesn't it? hmmm) can be embarrassing but most treatments are over-the-counter. Get on a regimen now and maybe you'll be back in time to get b**ch slapped by the Patriots in January. That is, if the Colts can make it. Go Titans & Chargers. Colts nation. Don't worry, you have lots of company. Many teams have fallen apart after being decimated by the Pats. Rams, Eagles, Panthers in the past. Jets, Cinci, and now you this year. Winning the division isn't all its cracked up to be. I have trouble remembering when the Pats last lost their division, but I think it was in 2002. And heck, they came back to win the Super Bowl 2 years ib a row. How about that? See, there's hope for you yet. Give in to the dark side. Take the Pats on as your mentors/role models and maybe someday you just might get back to the big dance. you just wishing so we don't come and stomp all over your crappy team and stadium go home patty.

You guys have the Indy Strangler, as that should be the moniker Peyton goes by considering all the choking he has done in his career. So the Colts are responsible for horrible officiating? Last I checked, the officials were employed by the league, not the Colts. Your issue is with the League, not the Colts. Manning can't match up to Brady? Take Brady out of that team, put Manning in, and they win just as much. Take Manning out of the Colts and put Brady in, they'll win just as much. Brady is an outstanding quarterback...in that system. Put him in another, he might not be good at all. Manning is an outstanding quarterback...in his system. Put him in another, he might not be goot at all. The telltale sign is when people who are NEUTRAL consistently say that if they're starting a franchise...they take Peyton Manning hands down. If they want to win the big playoff game...they take Brady. Brady will likely retire with more rings than Manning, but you're out of your mind if you think Manning isn't going to go down as one of the best 2 or 3 quarterbacks to ever play the game. Brady will be remembered in 30 years as a great playoff quarterback and a great super bowl winner. Manning will be known as a great all around quarterback, who leads or is second in every single passing statistical category. They're two great quarterbacks to be sure. And no, the refs aren't the reason that game was so close. The refs didn't shut down the Patriots run game in the first half. Is it entirely impossible for you Patriots fans to give credit to anyone? Also, as for cheaters, it takes on to know one I'm afraid. How many of the Colts plays were being video taped by Belichek and his cronies?
