I'm just one of those guys who isn't satisfied if they stumble into the playoffs - only to see them get pummeled in the first round.

Fact is they didn't come alive until late in the mid 4th quarter;
and they didn't win it as much as Denver's poor decisions lost it.

I'm just looking beyond Hester's exploits... and the satisfaction I got from Sauerbrun being stomped into the grass.

Coach Lovie Smith told the Bears players that they are in a 6 game elimination tournament for the playoffs, which they are.

But EVen IF they get to the playoffs, what then? Major embarrassment on national TV?

The victory is just false hope, a fools dream. It just delayed the inevitable.

So lose the next game and your childish hopes..

As they always say in Chicago: "Wait til next year."

It would be nice to come to these forums and have exchanges that whether or not you agree or disagree, you have stimulating discussion. People such as this one are the type that take enjoyment in being banal and sarcastic. They are the ones that in real life wouldn't have the stones to mouth off like they do in these forums.
