We'd do better with a blind squirrel at quarterback

This win should help Rex Grossman regain confidence as he has once again established himself as the starting quaterback for the Chicago Bears.

You let that kid throw the ball, and you win. You handcuff him and pretend the Bears are a defensive, running team and you lose. Too bad Rex didn't play against the Lions.

While I am an unashamed Bears fan, I do worry about bad Rex.
It seems, however, that the real problem is a combination of Ron Turner and the ineffective offensive line. Give any QB in football enough time, he will complete passes. Make a hole in the defense, and almost any running back can gain yards. Call anemic, trite, expected plays and you will get smeared.
Rex, it seems, does not throw any more intercepted passes than any other QB in football. There is a defense out there that will get an interception at times.
Judging from the last five minutes of the last game, it looks like somebody can call and execute plays. Maybe we should all just shut up and watch.

Yo, Hill...it's about TD passes, not INT's. Do you own math. I mean, my gosh, they are doing QB ratings on Wrecks over a couple of minutes in a quarter now. Wrecks is bogus; has been and always will be. That's just the way it is. Get over it.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Aries

The prospect of travel really appeals to you today, especially if you don't have any holidays booked for the foreseeable future. So be careful if you're out shopping and you happen to walk past a travel agent's, because almost before you know it you could be sitting in there waving your credit card around and consulting your diary for the best day to take off for the wide blue yonder.
