Actually, Moss's true greatness was not just 'running down the field faster than anyone else'... it was his a combination of speed, height and his ability to jump higher than nearly any corner or safety that was trying to keep him from making the reception. The cry was... "throw it to Moss... he'll jump up and get it!"

The problem now with receivers like Moss... is that they draw too much attention... they get double teamed. The result of that being that a good part of the time, they're used as decoys. But, with that height and the jumping ability... Moss can overcome a good deal of that.

Having said that, I believe the true ability of a great receiver... double-teamed, or not... is the ability to GET OPEN!
