Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

While the Dolphins ponder which of their young receivers to keep on their final 53-man roster, veteran Joe Horn entered the marketplace Tuesday and is interested in coming to Miami, according to his agent.

Joe Horn? C'mon Joe, Miami is in the middle of a youth movement of its own...didn't you notice? Does this guy really think Miami would want him? He is washed up to begin with...I cant think of many teams that would be interested.....I bet his career is over. Trade McCown for a back-up left tackle please!!!!!!!!!!

I think joe horn would be great in the development of ginn and hagan but from his standpoint he said he wants to go to a superbowl contender the dolphins dont exactly fit that bill so i dont know why he would want to come to miami. i think a 1 year deal would be good

Take him if the price is right. If the Falcons are on the hook for $2M+, Horn might not be looking for too much $$$, maybe just a starting position with incentives.

pay him whatever he wants, but just a one year deal. Glenn is too banged up, but this team does need a veteran receiver. I do believe Horn's big playmaking abilities are behind him, but Ginn is that guy now. The dolphins just need someone with good hands and is reliable.

Horn is not what we need. Get a young WR with some upside a la Davone Bess that another team releases.

A washed up receiver, ya if I was washed up I'd make myself available for a few million more too. 240 yards receiving in 12 games last year? Let's pass on this one.

I'd rather have TERRY GLENN than JOE HORN, I don't think the Dolphins want another old receiver on the roster unless he still has a couple years left, Joe and Terry don't.

Ken Whisenhunt said again today that Anquan is not going to be traded and that he hopes a new contract can be ironed out in the near future to secure Anquan in the Red and White.

Sorry bud, I don't ever see it happening. But if it WERE to happen, I would think that Joey Porter would be in that deal along with a future draft pick(s). Again, highly unlikely as much as I'd love to see Anquan in Miami!

Whisenhunt isn't letting Anquan go anywhere, as much as we would all like for him to land in Miami. And as far as Joe Horn??.... He would be a decent pickup if the money is right. He could mentor our young WRs and if we could get just one decent year out of him that would be a +. The reason for his lack of production last year is pretty self-explanatory!! He played in Atlanta people!!! With Joey H. throwing the ball not to mention he was banged up half the year. He would fair a lot better with Penny throwing him the ball in Miami.

You just squashed my hopes and dreams! I am going to commit suicide now!
Getting Boldin would be enough to make me think about the Dolphins rising above .500!

Let's hope next yr's draft is deep in WR's b/c that's when the real help comes. Can you envision another young receiver to develop across from Ginn?

As much as I'd like to see Boldin in Miami--and, as has already been said, it's not going to happen--I don't think it would be wise to give up a 2nd and a 6th to get him as was suggested. Draft picks are too valuable to part with too readily at this stage of the rebuidling project. We are still too thin at too many spots to be giving up picks. We need to collect as many as we can get. After all, isn't a certain 6th rd. pick the sensation of TC right now ... you know, one of those throw-away late rounders?

We need to get save our picks, get the best we can off the waiver wire this yr (when we're not contending anyway), and plan for the draft or free agency to really make a move toward addressing the need long-term. We still need too many bodies on the team.

All I can say is, Thank God you're not running the team. You must think Boldin by himself is enough to win us a Super Bowl. Otherwise, proposing a 3-for-1 trade is inexplicable--particularly when the 3 players you're giving up consist of last yr's yards-from-scrimmage leader at the time he went down (a no. 2 overall), AND TWO 2nd rounders, one of whom is a still-young QB with quite a bit of upside especially if placed in a "West Coast" system w/ the O-line protection to save him from shell shock!

Other than that, however, the deal would be great!
