Hagan had some kind of records in college. how come when he got to the pros he forgot how to catch all of a sudden? I agree, anybody will be better than him...GO PHINS!!!

As they say, it is a whole other level of play.

The other point is, when these guys come to the pros, they are still developing mentally and physically. Some don't mentally but still do physically, bulking up, getting stronger. These are the guys that you shake your heads at.

Then, there are the guys that make that quantum leap forward between the ears. Those are the late round draft picks that end up being stars a couple of three years down the road. Sure, good coaching has a role in it, but it is mostly what goes on between the ears.

If they have the heart and physical attributes to be outstanding in college, then they have a chance at getting into the NFL. If they develop mentally, they have a chance of staying and, if they develop their physical level of play along with the grey matter boost, they can be a starter.

Special teams should do well this year.

Now, if we could get the rules changed...no offense or defense, just kicking the ball back and forth.

I totally agree, you must start somewhere. Special teams is the key for successful teams. I think Bill and the gang did the right thing by getting special team specialists rather than what was done last season .... you know the "Longest Yard" group.

LOT like achilles injuries....very debilitating.
