Report: Seattle Seahawks land T.J. Houshmandzadeh

Tj a seahag? Now im sooooo suprised.....NOT....We have a habit of offering players lowball offers..Im sooo disappointed....wait im used to it...Vikes need to fire someone for letting housh bolt....nuff said

T.J. Houshmandzadeh was heard to say " Imagine what I could do with ...... who the hell is the running back here in Seattle anyway?"

What Houshmandzadeh fails to appreciate is that the monetary difference in the Vikings and Seahawks offers can be made up in a couple of years of interest accruing on the lesser offer. But continually losing games while playing with the Seahawks rebuilding will stay with him forever. By the time the team is any good, he will be cut.

Altogether a stupid decision.

After hearing that he snuck out of Minne and was playing us against the Bengals for money i don't know about him. I guess it was all about the money, 'cause if he wanted to win Seattle is not the place to go. Their QB issue is almost as problematic as ours, plus i JJ isn't what he used to be.

Well, he should be primed for/used to dismal failure after all those years with the Bungles. Oh, wait, whats this above me? Someone posing as Tj from Wisconsin? Thats funny... i thought he lived in LA. Must be a loser packers fan that, once again, has nothing positive going for his team, so he comes on here to talk sh-t about ours.... gearing up for another 6-10 season with another bunch of talentless hacks over in Green Bay, are we?

Well forget TJ Hous then, if all he cares about is the money. He can go over to seatle and be a loser for the rest of his career while the vikes go to the superbowl once they land JAY CUTLER!! COME ON VIKES...GET JAY CUTLER AND I BET THE METRODOME WILL BE PACKED ALL SEASON THIS YEAR!!!!!!

Seahawks overpaid, big time. T.J. is nearly 32 and was only interested in the big payday.

Surprise, surprise a receiver that didn't want play for a loser coach, his pathetic offense and his stable of lousy QBs.

This is a step in the right direction for the Seahawks. TJ is a proven receiver that will fit right in on the Seattle offense, AAAAAND this clears up room for Seattle to draft a defensive player or to look to strengthening their offensive line; both are needed.

think your right.also tj was a better fit for the vikes.

I actually did hear one of the known talking heads in sports (especially with NFL issues) that TJ had expressed some concerns about the QB situation in Minnesota. Guess he, for one, realizes that he isn't going to be a factor the game plan if the Vikings insist on having incompetent, inaccurate, and non defense reading QBs throwing to him.

Seattle: once players go there, they are never heard from again.
He would have been a good addition, but it just wasn't in the cards.
Shianco, and especially Rice need to pick it up this year, that will make the ghost of Housh disappear in a hurry.

GO Seahawks!! With a great QB who broke Franchise records in 2007 with no rungame, now good receivers decent running back all they need is a good OT and DT will be set for success with the new aged coaching!!!!

i am sure that it came down to money and location for housh on this one. he is a west coaster and seemed to be more interested in finishing up with a big contract then winning. can't blame him, it seems like he is putting his family first.

housh would have been nice, but a bit of a luxury. now that he is off the table we should go after mcnabb...i am thinking purple and gold might sound pretty good to him right now. perhaps coles as well, just for a little more security at WR in case sidney and aundre don't make more progress.

Losing Hutch was the beginning of the end in Sheattle. Hasselpunk is still complaining about EJ rolling into his leg a few years back, what a baby.
No turn around in seattle this year, maybe in 2020.
