1 Aren't you somewhat in remission after predicting the demise of the Vikings because of Childress last year? |

2 Rag on our QB situation all you want, but if Kyle Orton (iowa native) can play pro ball in Chicago, Sage Rosenfels ( iowa native) can play pro ball for a dramatically superior team in Minnesota. If Rex Grossman could take an offensively talentless Bears team to the superbowl and lose, then Sage should be able to take the Vikings ( with TJ Housh) who would be solid both sides of the ball to the super bowl and win it. |

2 The real unknown it appears based on the story is Housch's wife acceptance of moving to a new community. And that fans maybe the one thing that could be the fly in the ointment that the Vikings can't control. |

1 Seems to me if this guy was genuinely interested in Minnesota, he'd have signed by now. They've had more than enough time to lay it all out on the table; I don't think he's considering whether the offer is good enough. I think he's playing chicken with Cincinnati, hoping his stalling will psyche them out and get him some extra money. |

1 4-11-1 !!!!!!!!!! Does that help the decision?:) To answer your question Palmer is much better, but so is the ball boy. TJ wont be starting. |

1 They can't forget that a huge issue for any QB will be the Right side of the OL or lack there of! They need to keep a few bucks around to secure that spot. Isn't Runyon still out there? |

1 A person's gotta wonder, what would it cost to take him away from Denver. Hmmm????? 1st and 2nd? 1st '09 and '10? 1st,3rd and a player? Hmmm.... |

1 I'd love to see them make a run for Cutler myself. He was te guy I was hoping they'd pick 3 years ago before Denver traded up to get him just a couple spots ahead of the Vikings. ESPN.com had an interesting article today about Cutler. Apprently he's really ticked about the Bronco's supposed efforts to land Cassell before he went to the Chiefs. Word is the Broncos were offered a 1st and 3 from one team (I think the Bucs?), and a 2nd plus future considerations from the Bills(??). If that's the going rate on Cutler, I wouldn't be against a trade that sends the Broncos a 1st rounder this year and either a 3rd next year or some mid-level player they might want that is expendable for the Vikings. One thing the article pointed out that is some concern is that Cutler is supposedly known to be a little difficult at times with teammates and the media. While I could care less about the media, I wouldn't want him if he might screw up team chemistry. Will be interesting to see if the Vikes are really sold on Sage (who most aren't even giving the starting job to yet), or if they are still looking to upgrade at teh QB position. |
