King's Island Removes Display of Dead Celebrities from Halloween Event

Full story: newstalkradiowhio.com

The area's biggest amusement park says the will not show a controversial display. King's Island is preparing for their annual "Halloween Haunt," and they had planned to use a display that included skeletons dressed up to depict famous dead celebrities. That display has been removed, however, after a TV report that showed clips of the display was met with public disapproval. The display was set to include images of singer Michael Jackson, pitchman Billy Mays, and actress Farrah Fawcett, all of whom passed away this past summer. Wendy's founder Dave Thomas was also part of the display. [Sounds like fun to me. Too bad the mirthless deadbeats have to yap it up and spoil everyone's fun just because they don't have a sense of humor. -ed.]

Sorry, its just to soon. Its not a matter of a sense of humor...its called respect. Give it a some time...unless, of course, your goal it to hurt the fans and the families.

How, exactly, does it *hurt* fans and "the familites"? How many families? WHAT families? Do you think the Wacky Jacksons were going to stop by for a little Halloween hoot?

Sorry, it's not a matter of time. It's a matter of perspective. You never met Wacko, you never would have met Wacko; you didn't know Wacko, Wacko didn't know you. Your "mourning" of a dead perv is as faux as a diamond ring from a bubblegum machine: cheap, tarnished and funny to see when someone whips it out and flaunts it.

Get over it. Grow up. Deal. Beg, borrow or buy a sense of humor. MOVE ON with your pitiful little life and let everyone else decide whether they are disturbed by the display AFTER they've seen it.

I think it's a marvelous bit of fun that you're equating Wacko with someone's Mom but, hey, HEAL THE WORLD, f'loonshite.

P.S. You do realize the odds your mother is going to die before YOU are greater than the other way around, right? RIGHT?

I'm sure you will die way before that. Most degenerates do. Just like MJ. Yippy! You can meet him in hell. Aren't you excited?

FYI, you're mother will see that and beat you silly first.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aquarius

This is another day when financial matters cause trouble, as Mars reverses in your seventh house. What started off as a minor niggle with a partner or an opponent yesterday could now escalate into a full-blown row, but at least this will give you the chance to get certain things out into the open. Legal issues from the past may become ugly. If you're pointing the finger of blame at someone, don't get so heated that you accuse them of everything under the sun.
