Heyer isn't powerful enough to clear lanes for Portis, and other running backs. But to pass protect, I think he fills the bill.
I think we should try to trade Samuels (sorry Chris) for maybe a 2nd & 4th or 5th round draft pick, and try to find some savvy young linemen to revamp an aging O-line, & D-line. Heyer will get better with some more experience, but although Chris (Samuels) & Jon (Jensen) were great in their prime, they're getting a little "old-in-the-tooth" to take alot more punishment. We need new blood now! |
