San Diego Linebacker calls charges against him wrong

No one cares about drunk drama queens. She just wants attentin since she doesn't have another slutty show on MTV. We as a world must stop worry'ing about "celebrities" lives and start taking care of ourselves. Who cares about drunk "celbrities" and there fake "problems" they don't know what were going threw living check by check. They rather use dumb excuses to hurt themselves pick up drug habits and od like typical drug adicts. Like MJ and Dj AM. Who cares. We shouldn't show sympathy to drug adicts show there family the sympathy. More then likely they've been killing there family for years with there drumming or drug filled behaviors. Bunch of losers on tv and movies now. No one has class anymore.

He didn't beat her. She was an intoxicated mess. He was actually trying to get this drunken screw up out of his home.

She got angry that someone dare tell her what to do, and she called the cops. About 100 people at the party witnessed her trashy fit.

This incident/article has nothing to do with Michael Vick, dogs, animal rights or beating.

Eric you are an idiot. yes animals come secondary to humans I get that but animals do not have a voice so we as decent human beings have to help them. Tila 'slut/whore/drama queen' Tequila needs to get her act together because honey, those looks aren't going to last forever. Hmmm... Let me try to understand this... This Tila chick is Merriman's "girlfriend" who just so happens to be a reality "star" who was so f'd up that she couldn't drive home on her own and Merriman tries to do the decent thing and he's charged with battery AND false imprisonment? Wow! So... a reality "star" is catered to because she's a 'star' and of course, her story is made believable because she's a "star" and the reality of the circustances are overlooked. Was a field sobriety test admininstered at all? The real problem here is the fascination of "reality" personalities by the public and law enforcement. Unordinary people who are given their fifteen-minutes and they (Reality "stars") try to get as much of that time beyond the fifteen. If she was an "ordinary" citizen, this story would have never been publicised. People need to stop catering to these desperate-for-fame types and make it a point to stop watching and glamorizing "Reality" shows so that people like Tila Tequila will stay out of the news.

Once Tila made the allegation, the police had to do their job and arrest him. Tila went to the next step and filled out a police report. She is willing to go to court to testify against Shawne. The police had to take him to jail. This is no longer the 1900's where men can explain away their "female" legal problems at the scene. Shawne chose Tila as his mate, now he has to live with the consequences. Hopefully he will not be proven to be at fault and can chalk this up to a learning experience. His next step is to find a good lawyer. Good intentions or not, he grabbed the wrong girl and now she is grabbing headlines.

How is she a so called "star". All she has done was on some stupid dating show. Like was already posted, Merriman picked her to be his girlfriend or whatever, now he has to deal with all her drama queen bull----. He said she was drunk, she's saying that she was not drunk and don't drink so which one telling the truth.

Why in the hell would any man even touch that girl....he is an idiot and I'm sure he could do a lot better than that nasty, nasty girl.....she looks like a walking STD poster...seriously!!

2) She's the one who placed him under "citizens arrest". The Police just take custody of him AFTER she arrested him.

3) Sounds to me he tried to do theright thing and is paying the price for it.

I totaly agree. I hope he did not hit her!! I deplore abuse of any-kind be it animal or human.
