This is possibly one of the dumbest articles I have ever read. Is this really the only Bears news you could come up with?

Well, that's the long and the short of it.

What were the arm lengths of HOF'ers like Anthony Munoz? Give me a player with "stubby" arms, superb technique, knowledge of blocking assignments and a great attitude any day. He'll adapt his game and overcome.

Jerry Angelo has been "short arming" the Bears in every draft he's been around for.

If football doesn't work out, dude could always star in play "Your Arms to Short to Box with God." Cause Aaron Kampmann will take him to school.

What is this - a porn audition?? What a crock!
I don't recall 'arm-length' stats on Van Horne or Covert or Big Cat. Same goes for Dierdorf, Jackie Slater, Art Shell, etc.
Next, the experts will be telling us that Guards should "ideally" have short arms - as to not interfere with the long arms of Tackles.
While you're at it, Jerry Angelo - measure your QB's height!

This is one of the most idiotic articles I have ever read! Now, players will get paid $100,000.00 per inch of arms' length. No heart and skills no matter if you are King Kong.

It's Lovie's short brain that is the problem.

It's just another example of people putting too much stock in "measurables". I don't care how long his arms are, can he block? If he had T-Rex arms that might be a problem. I can't wait for some announcer say "he wouldn't have given up that sack if his arms were an inch longer".

What is all this BS? It doesn't matter if his arms are 26 inches or 40 inches long. If he can play then it will show very soon. If he can't then that will also show up soon. Only thing that matters is what he does on the field. Too much emphasis placed on what someone is supposed to be, by the so called book. Many great players did not meet the numbers in the so called book.

Fortunately the Defensive ends in the division all have thin torsos so he can get his hands into their armpits. Maybe if we let the colorado marine patrol drag him around for awhile his arms will stretch out. I am glad to hear his right arm is longer so he can reach back against that inside spin move. He must have done lots of 12 oz extensions. Anyway- its not the length of your arms that matters- its the girth.

Angelo has more important things to worry about.....like finding an NFL caliber quarterback for the Bears. Oh yeah, and a running back too. And while he's at it, a couple wide receivers that are actually capable of starting on an NFL team would be helpful too....
