Thank you

Ryan Grant did an outstanding job with the efforts that he put in to attend the charity event for the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha. He is a very genuine person and an excellant speaker. He left people with a lot of thought on how to teach kids to play sports and to play for the love of the game. Thank you again Mr. Grant

where did he hint at a holdout? Mccarthy said he has been with the team every day working out. that doesn't seem like the actions of a potential holdout.

Tightwad Thompson strikes again
He signs three tryout players, but can't address the starters on the team.
Abe Lincoln still screams every time TT grabs a penny.

This is very odd, but I agree with pack rulez and (in principle) and with 40 (is it real? I've gotta pinch myself). This is a manufactured story--he never "hints" at holding out. But that said, you could make a very attractive offer to the guy (nice bonus, sweet incentives) without a lot of guaranteed money, so why not put this thing to bed before it becomes a distraction? It may be prudent, it may be smart, but it comes off looking cheap.

Has nothing to do with Ted Thompson being a tightwad, it's just good business. Remember Gado....one good partial season than nothing. If Grant holds out he is a fool, because he has no leverage for the next two years and his career will be virtually over. Better he gets on the field and proves last season was not a fluke, then Ted will take of him, as he has done with his other core players.

If you think that Ted's tightness hasn't already resonated around the league, you are sadly mistaken. It just hasn't caught up to him yet. Thompson and McCarthy are too young in their current careers to make any substantiated claims to fame. Everybody is anxious to see what GB will be without Brett, none will be more apprehensive than Ted and Mike. Time will bear this out one way or the other.

Grant gained more yards last season (in 10 games) than Gado has in his entire career, not to mention out-gaining the entire league over that stretch. Did our guards suddenly improve that much? The guy's a player. He's due $377,000 each of the next two seasons. Brandon Jackson made $1,045,000 last season. I know which one I prefer. Max, since he has no leverage, what should he do? Bust a knee in OTAs, get cut and end up with nothing? I'm missing the foolish part. Grant doesn't want to hold out. TT is creating this dilemma. Give the guy his raise.
