Loved it when we got Eli from SD. But...he has made me nuts over the past few years with his inconsitent play and the "look" he has after a bad play or series. We all should know what I'm talking about. But now...after the past two games I'm starting to get excited and very happy. I hope this is a glimpse into a better Giant career for Eli. I want to like him. Geez - all of NY NJ wants to like the guy. Seems like a great kid. But gotta be able to have the cajons to play tough in tough spots. I think we could have something with Eli that I wouldnt have said a few weeks ago. Here's to hoping!

Hey Guido. That is the first intelligent thing I have read in these posts. Yes. He has that look. I saw it after the last meaningful pick he threw and I am not counting the pick in the Pats game since that game in essence didn't count but in the Buffalo game. His hands at his sides, head to the left, the look of bewilderment all signs of a frustrated QB. Yet he shows signs of brilliance and for the first time in a long time he has put together 2 straight excellent games. If he can be consistent then this team will go far. He helped win this game not manage it. Big third down throws, looking db's off, finding the check down receivers he did it all well today. If he plays like that in Dallas they can win there. Remember this team was picked to win a maximum of 8 games this year. 10-6 and a playoff win is a successful season in my eyes. Thank you Giants for a terrific year already.

Step on terrorless Owens foot and beat up on Tony Homo!
Cowgirls haven't played well in a while - similar to the Bucs.

I was not a fan of Eli's acquisition, and he still left some big plays on the field yesterday, that he can't afford to leave if there are gonna be championship runs.

But....

I can say yes to G. O'Malley's take.
Don't need him to be Peyton, just a gutsy pro who makes plays, especially when it counts...
He has a much better "look" these last coupla weeks (though remember he's had good weather both contests - he's still gotta overcome mental hurdles in bad climes...).

Good win by the Giants but lets face it, the Bucs might have been the worse team to make the playoffs in the past five years. A 9-7 team in a weak division that went 4-6 outside of that division. What this weekend proved was that there really weren't 12 playoff caliber teams in the NFL this season. The Bucs, Titans and Redskins showed they were playoff teams in name only. The Seahawks and Chargers both won and both played poorly for the most part and will have to play a whole lot better to have any chance next week at Green Bay and Indy.

I'm pretty sure everyone was saying the Giants were not only the worst team in these playoffs, but the worst team to EVER make the playoffs. Suck on it haters. Go Big Blue.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Taurus

The sad fact is that a certain person isn't making much sense right now. They seem to be talking nonsense, or maybe they've got the wrong end of the stick but are hanging on to it for grim death and refuse to let you correct them. Mind you, there's also the possibility that you're the one who has got themselves in a muddle but doesn't realize it. Scary!
