I had the misfortune of hearing the giants broadcast of this game. I couldn't believe all the crying I heard going on. Crying about the short week , the injuries etc....What a joke!!! Toughen up ..its football ladies! F.Y.I the Bears defense was missing Tillman , Bowman and Manning..Didn't hear one mention of that did you?

The giants announcers were all over the fact that Jacobs flattened Urlacher on a run and failed to even acknowledge that Urlacher knocked Jacobs on his ass in pass protection. It was right in front of their eyes and there was dead silence ,almost disbelief! It was funny as hell. About at the 9 minute mark of the second quarter. Giants are garbage!

Who cares about preseaon. It is just a glorified practice to determine what areas need work. You honestly dont think teams in preseason are going to give up their game plans. Please. Wait for the real season to begin. Then you can talk all the trash you want.

You just cant totally overlook everything. Who wins or loses is irrelevent , but how your starteres play against other starters for that first 2 or 3 series does matter.

Yup! Orton sure looked like the Orton I remember...overall, this was not a very impressive game IMHO.

Oh well, Forte and Olsen pick up where they left off, but I'm not sure why they keep some guys like Wolfe around as a back. The one time Cutler threw to him, the pass fell short....! Well of course!

Keep Wolfe on special teams and work with Jones and maybe even Peterson. AP used to show good hands and running skills, I wonder why he's on the outs?

Meanwhile, Rex serves ably as 4th QB in Houston! haw haw haw! Later!!

You really like Jones?

He never seems to get the job done. I dont understand why they re-signed him. Id rather see Peterson or even Wolfe get the reps. Hell even I could run to the line of scrimmage.

Actually, I much prefer Peterson, but from what I've read, Jones seems to have had a decent camp. So, I am agnostic in the pre-season.

I like that Peterson has good hands & can catch and run, and I'd also keep Wolfe on special teams where he led the team in tackles last year (I think). Peterson's touchdown in Denver helped his cause a bit.

Mix it up & don't burn out Forte! GO BEARS!

I like the idea of resting Forte some throughout the year. I equally think it may be too much to pass on if Cutler can spread the defense the way Orton could not.

Go Bears!

Well, I guess we don't have Kevin Jones to kick around any more!

On we go, keep Peterson and Wolfe! GO BEARS!!

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Leo

You'll be action-oriented today, Leo. If truth be told, intense physical activity has the ability to soothe you much more than frenzied mental exercise. Invitations to madness are the wrong thing for you, but they are tempting nonetheless. Dig in your heels and do what you know you have to do. When driving this evening, take extra care.
