Poor Buffalo, After such an impressive start they have totally fallen apart since that game against us. I think this will be the game where we really turn it up and build some momentum for those final 3 games. I will tell you now, we will win this one 31-17...GO PHINS!!!

The way te bills finished last season, added a few players, and started this year, one would think they would be playing better. I am looking for them to play better sunday, against the dolphins. I am not saying they will win, but I think it will be another close game.

Howie, I like your optimism, but I'll just be happy if we win. I don't see us winning by two TD's, though. If we win at all, I'm more inclined to agree with BravPhin. It'll be a squeaker. We've been struggling to score points lately, and I wouldn't be surprised to see that trend continue, esp. with the loss of Camarillo and Smiley the past two weeks. Smiley's loss really hurts. Alleman could be in for a pretty long day b/c that's still a pretty good DL Buffalo has. And as badly as they've been playing, they still have a lot of talent and I expect them to come out swinging, knowing every game from now till the end of the season is a must-win for them if they have any shot at all at the postseason.

I've never been a big fan of Jauron as a coach, but have even so been frankly a bit shocked at how quickly the wheels have come off the wagon for them. Edwards is the better of the two QB's primarily b/c he's normally the better decision-maker. So his absence should favor us, but I'm afraid it could turn into one of those situations where, even though Edwards is on thee whole better, Losman might give a floundering team a shot in the arm for a short stretch. Since this is Losman's final season in Buff., these last four games are essentially, for him personally, a chance to show the rest of the league why he should be pursued. One would think a guy desperate to resusitate his career should be highly motivated to prove he's got something left in the tank (or the arm!) Still, the big knock on him is a tendency to hold the ball too long and get rattled easily if he gets a little consistent pressure in his face. Let's hope our D-line can get more pressure than we've managed the past few weeks. If so, Losman should be good for a pick or two.

But don't put this 'W' in the bank too quickly yet.

GO PHINS!

Armchair is right. Dont put this win in the books, even though it is a game the fins "should" win.
The bills will not have the same game plan as the 1st game. They will adapt. So it is up to the fins to Adapt as well. Teh bills will be ready for what the fins did to them the last game. As the PATS were. I
I myself was expecting the wildcat to grow new legs against the pats, knowing the pats woukld be ready for the samo samo wildcat. Seems strange to me that againmst the TEXANS , pitching the ball back to Chad Pennington, and going DEEP was VERY successfull, with that huge completeion to Patrick Cobs on that play. WHY tyhey didnt try to keep doing that, I have no idea. i THOUGHT THEY WERE WAITING FOR THE pats game again, but NOOOOO. WHY THE HELL NOT? Do they think the pats coach is stupid?
IF they are gona keep using the wildcat, they are going to have to add the PASS wrinkle to it. The 1 time they did it, it was HUGELY successfull. Especially ther 2nd time we play the same team that has seen it in the 1st.
I can give this staff a break, they have done great! But they are still rookies.

I'm glad we won and, Howie, I've got to admit you were closer on your prediction of the point spread than I was, even if you were a little bit on the high end regarding the point total. I'm just glad to get that one out of the way and now focus on San Fran. Without trying to pat myself on the back here, it's kind of scary how accurate my pre-game assessment of Losman turned out to be. I guess he just is what he is. I'm glad Edwards wasn't healthy b/c he scares me a lot more than Losman.
