Without out a doubt, since Shula left and probably last few months of JJ, this has been the textbook edition of how not to run a football franchise. They can not do anything right. Wanscrap will go down as the worst coach in NFL history, definately the Dolphins. The damage he did to this team is still so evident today with his desparation trades to save his own ass and not the welfare of the team. Wayne should have canned him when the dirty stash was crumbling and looked every week like he was going to have abreakdown on the sideline, but he let him go and do the severe damge that the fins have still not recoverd from. He took a team that was a few picks away and gave away their draft picks and play called like a p***y on the sideline.

To sum up, this is all on Wanscrap, Cameron has not helped things, and Wayne needs to pull the plug a lot earlier. I can tell you Wayne wants to win at this point more than any owner in the league, that is without a doubt if anyone posting above actually spoke to him you would realize this.

Dolphins couldn't even beat Buffalo when they were good, how they gonna beat them now? Same with the Jets, who should thank god that the Dolphins are still in the league, so everyone doesn't realize how pitiful they are too.

I have a question, and I know I come across as a know it all, someimes, I dont mean to, so this is a real question.
IF the owner is the problem, as I can see how that can be, what can anyone do about it?

They let half the team go last year, and, the year before that because they wouldn't match anyone's salary.

Jeff Zgonia, David Bowens, Kevin Carter and Wes Welker don't sell tickets. Joey Porter does to a bunch of laymans.

THEY LET HALF THE TEAM GO AND GAVE YOU PORTER. Are you happy? Take a look at the list sparky, we are at the bottom of the list, year in and year out in player payroll spending.

LA charges the highest price in the NBA for tickets. All they give them is Kobe and nothing else.

Should the fans there be thrilled as much as we are? The real problem with this team is: we don't keep the talent we have.

We have a shutdown secondary.. what do we do? Get rid of Mad and Surtain.

We have the 4th ranked defense last year.. what do we do? Get rid of 5 defensive players who had a direct impact.

When boy when, are you going to get your act together?

Numbnutz,
You are actually blaming the coach who did the best under the shitzinga regime.

How retarded is that?

Yeah Man,
It's truly Cam's fault that the owner doesn't pay for talent and what ever talent he did have, got injured.

Starting QB, BEST defensive guy on the team, Pro Bowl Year Ronnie Brown and all of his backups. And, 5 guys including Yeramiah Bell in the secondary.

I'd love to see you do your job with none of the tools needed to do so.

No, but you do. All the intellect you packed in to your response to me has really forced me to re-think things.

Thank You!

MarinoFan13,
Retorts like these are the reason I stopped participating in these discussions. It's like talking to rocks. In any event, did you hear that a Clinton aide quit because HC started passing around an email that spoke the truth about Osama Hussein Barrack? It said the he was muslim and a muslim would purposely destroy the country. My born in egypt friend agrees with her %1,000. Chalk one up for h for being honest for once.

One of many links showing that the Obama being a radical muslim myth is false (CNN and others are quoted and easily findable as well). I am not voting for him anyway, but I just hate stupid baseless smear campaigns. Back to football.

You've got to hit him in the wallet. Boycott the games and watch it on TV. If you get blacked-out locally, get the NFL Sunday Ticket or go to a sports bar. We can still be Phin fans while making a statement to Wayne.

Yes, that id one way of doing it, but that also may produce even more losing. Then the owner wont spend as much as he does now, cause he wont be bringing it in. THEM Fins rerally would be a low budget team. We all know what low budget did to the marlins.
It is a bit of a damned if you do, damned if you dont situation there. I think the best thingg for now is to accept where the fins are, quit demanding a return to the past. We all knew Marino was special, 1 of a kind, so even then we knew NOONE would likely do as good as he, so why do we keep comparing QB's to him? SCREW that. We have to let the past go so the present players, and coaches arent under that kind of pressure. Would your NEW wife stay with you long if you keep comparing her to your EX? HELL NO! But thats what FIN fans have been doing to EVERY QB since MArino, and EVERY coach since SHULA. It is TIME TO LET GO! IF we dont, then we will keep having coaching carosells, QB Carosells, and MANY LOSING seasons. We are going through that right NOW.

I hope you don't think that I am comparing our current QBs to Marino. I never have and never will. There is NOBODY that one can compare to Dan!

I'm the guy who brings up TRENT DILFER on many of these posts. We can get it done without the greatest QB in the league. I agree with your post.

I just think the fans overall need to take the pressure OFF this team to be what they were in the past, not saying we shouldnt want them to be good, but sometimes a total rebuilding is what they need. The Jimmy Johnsons, and Dave Wannys tried to turn Miami Dolphins into DALLAS COWBOYS , as far as thier personality, and traditions, and I think thats what screwed us all up. Dolphins cant be THe Cowboys, niether can the Cowboys be the pats, or the pats be the colts. This team had its identity stolen after the Shula era , and it shouldnt have been, but now that it was, Maybe we need to accept the total rebuild and accept that even next year , no matter what they do in the coaching arena, is going to be anything spectacular. We have had years of trading away future for the WIN NOW theory, and NOW we are paying for it. Maybe Fin fans need to learn something they, in the past havent had to have, PATIENCE.
