Colts take advantage of Pats' gamble for 35-34 win

Full story: Air America Radio

Bill Belichick's stunning gamble failed, and Peyton Manning took advantage by throwing a 1-yard touchdown pass with 13 seconds left that rallied the unbeaten Indianapolis Colts over the New England Patriots 35-34 Sunday night.

What a great game!!! Bellasuck is an arrogant fool. Coaching decision blew up in his face. He knew Manning would either burn him from 30 yards out or 70. He just made it a little easier on the league's best QB.

I have to admit I didn't think the Colts would pull it off after they missed several opportunites to win the game.
But, they proved once again that they are the better team.

If the Pats receiver catches the ball cleanly, the Pats win, and bill is a genius.
I think Bill showed a lot of respect for Peyton.
He'd already seen Peyton make two long scoring drives in two minutes or less. He wanted to avoid a third. Besides, his offense had been moving the ball up and down the field all night. I don't know that I agree with Belichicks decision ... but I don't think it was as bad as people are making it.

I could care less who won the game, but I think both teams were exposed on the defensive side, and they can't expect to win in the playoffs without defense. Defense wins championships. Go Steelers!!!

Not to worry Pats fans. Lovie Smith is still clearly leading the league in total knuckleheadedness. If coaching ineptness were people, Lovie Smith would be China.

LOL..How any couch could think running a play that could leave Peyton with the ball and 30 yards for a winning TD is beyond me.

What a worthless risk. But I enjoy seeing NE lose, so I'm glad the decision was made to go for it on 4th down.

persoanly, I think Belicheck knew that if Satan Manning had the ball with 30 yards or 70 yards for a TD, he'd make it regardless. He tried to take the ball out of Satans's hands and run out the clock. It almost worked. I am liking his decision more and more. It just didn't work. Had it, it would have added to his genius.

With that said, how does anyone beat the Dolts? How did Houston almost do it?

yes they did nascar boy, peyton is a great quarterback, but you have a running game that is a joke,a defense that was exposed last night by a great quarterback,i guess it's a little different for the indy defense playing against a brady than playing against all those mickey mouse quarterbacks that has gotten you to 9-0.my hats off to peyton, the rest of your team other than clark and wayne are vastly overrated.

How conservative does everyone think Belicheck will be for the rest of the season? This loss is the kind that will scare his coaching soul.....
