Talk about how little we as fans, and the sportwriters know. All season long I've heard that Crowder is just "OK" and not a playmaker. He goes down and the Fins give up 492 to the lowly Chiefs. And Carey has been cticized by the posters here, and Omar, as not playing that well this year. Now Sparano says he and Long are the best run blockers on the OL.

Looks like the coaches know what they are doing. Not the fans, not the sportswriters. I like Omar's stuff, but sometimes he goes overboard with all this in depth analysis of players, like he's sitting in the film room all day breaking this stuff down, the like coaches who get paid to do it, do.

i'm sorry, but if ONE lb in a 3-4 scheme is enough to
make our defense go on tilt to the tune of 500 yds then
we dont have a prayer, this season is a REAL fluke and

channing crowder is enjoying HIS best year, but he is not
a pro bowl, dominant, play in-play out lb.

i doubt one lb, expecially crowder, makes that much difference.

torbor came from a SUPER BOWL lb squad so he is no slouch, 3rd string emergency player.

the problem at KC was once again, a good offense showing
what kind of secondary we have. and its NOT good. not
good enough for what we want to do and where we want to go.

DB and WR should be the MAJOR moves in this off season
and draft.

i dont see the jets hanging 500 on us [dont count it out], but
even our good DB's we had in maddison and surtain never
could hang with laverneous coles. he has been a dolphins
KILLER sincs day one! and our "db's" we have now are no sam and pat.

ANY team that crumbles to 500 yds because of one defender out is in SERIOUS trouble. and we have a couple capable
bench lb's.

i want crowder in there, but, not on a bad knee. so i hope
the finz are not rushing him back over lack of secondary play
and a neutralized pass rush from a good scheme.

I agree with some of the point here, but waht about this one. Good teams are supposed to beat bad teams, we are. But we get no credit because they are conservative wins for the most part. Low turnovers, normaly high possesion times, and stout in the red zone. These are values for winning teams. We knew going it that this was a building season, Chad was a present for the team that was not expected. So we still need some players here, the line is solid on both sides, so next we fill in some blanks. By the way the Phins had the #26 ranked schedule, Pats have the #32.(weakest) But i hear nothing about that because they are racking up points. A low scoring superbowl win would be the best gift a Jet could give to a Phin. The dream isn't dead yet, at least not today.
