Randy Moss wants back into the NFL, announcing online Monday -- his 35th birthday -- that his one-season retirement was really a sabbatical.
If the Houston Texans are smart they would not try and get Peyton Manning but instead approach Randy Moss or even Terrell Owens. The Texans biggest weakness is having a true #2 WR. The fact that both Randy Moss and Terrell Owens were at the top of their professions for a long time and are at this time open to being a #2 or #3 WR is more than enough reason to pursue them.
Matt Schaub was never the problem when it comes to the Texans. Matt Schaub has chemistry with Andre Johnson and his TE's and there is no way it is wise to bring Peyton to the Texans with so many questions unanswered. At the end of the day the best move the Texans can make is to pursue at least a real #2 WR and not stick with the status quo. Randy and Terrell are not in their primes but they are good for at least one or two seasons of solid production and the Texans for sure could use them.
