I would say that we definetly need to get a backup and not in the draft! We need to get a veteran backup who can help Jamracus and be able to come in if desperatetly needed! Some guys who come to mind are: Trent Dilfer, Tim Rattay, or bring back CUlpepper!

Rattay and Dilfer wouldn't be bad teachers...Culpeper would only Dumb RussellDown... It was Great to get rid of him as we should have never picked him up in the first place and he proved it. They should hire Gannon as a QB coach.

I would have Dilfer as a 3rd stringer. Gannon would be a pretty good quarterback coach, but I don't know if he wants to get into coaching.

Gannon is a Hard Ass Perfectionist...it took a while for the team to take to his style...Not sure if it would translate...but he definetly knows and understands the game..

I would say no to Dilfer, and yes to Gannon as qb coach, and yes to picking COLT BRENNAN in the 4th round!

iagree with gannon comming in and putting his touch of sense and word but he has said that he does not want to get into coaching for oakland,he said he is happy with what he is doing.well, money does talk but,(won't happen)

I dont ever want Dilfer in Silver and Black worst QB in the history of the game. Also Gray wants to start i dont think he is looking to be behind anyone. And if you look Daunte Culpepper went 2-3 as a starter and won the first game of the year for us against clevland he led the game winning drive his first drive in Oakland. So dont tell me Culpepper was a mistake.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
