Anybody who follows the NFL, knows what Richardson did for Peterson last year in Minnesota. If the Jets can get McFadden and pair him with Jones, they won't even need a passing game. They are actually signing premiere players for the first time in two decades. Amazing how being 30 million under the salary cap can transform a team to super bowl contender overnight. They are following in the G-men's footsteps.

maybe but with the exception that THe 'G_men' were crappy enough for consecutive that they were able to compile players with top 10 picks like shock-ley and manning. Th Jets have had enough 6-10 and 8-8 years where they had things like the 7th pick when the drafthad 6 stars. Then the top picks are bust like Robertson or guys like Abraham who was never able to play 16 games. There is still enough of a defensive need to go that way in the draft. Jones will surprise with the revamped line. and the g-men did show how a pass rush can make a mediocre secondary look like all-pros

I agree about need on the d-line but the one thing the Jets have going for them on D is their secondary - Rhodes is all-world and should finally make the pro-bowl this year. Revis is already a lock down corner adn went man for man against Moss and Owens. Can't wait to see what he does this year.

Believe me. This signing is awesome for the Jets. I only wish Carl Peterson was smart enough to have kept him on with the Chiefs. T-Rich has been the best FB in the NFL for 6 years, is man of great character, and help the Jets greatly. Good luck, NY. We have your ex, who we paid too dearly to coach the Chefs.

For my money, Lorenzo Neal is the best available FB on the market.

Tony Richardson is a classy humble guy, I have no idea how any team could release him? I mean fullbacks are some of the lowest payed players on any team. I remember when he was blocking for the Chiefs in an 03 monday night game against Baltimore, Oh man he just layed out Ray Lewis in two staight running plays! I will for sure be watching the Jets this year good luck!

The Jets seems to have made some good acquisitions. But I think if Matt Ryan is available, they should draft him. (And hope he turns out better than Glenn Foley, their last QB from BC)
