Orpheus. I am not sure the Browns have treated him fairly.

Orpheus Roye is a fabulous person. I wish the best of luck to him. He was a mainstay during the Butch era who united the team while Butch was determined to divide it.

Roye was one of the few stars on defense for many years,I wish him the best! I wonder if he ever thinks had he stayed in Pitts. he'd gotten a super bowl ring...

The guy hasn't been productive the past few years, and rarely plays a whole game. He was a very solid player for a while, but let's face it. The Browns need to upgrade the defensive line with young defensive linemen. Out with the old and in with the new.

Whitey....You would have to be a fool to think Money is not important in a professional franchise...

Good players cost money....Roye was paid more last year then you will earn in a life time of work.......

We need quality defensive players if we are to win...It takes money to get them.....We are not a charity...Roye Contributed Greatly during his years with the Browns and was paid well for his efforts...

Orpheus had a good career here, but The Browns are going to draft and/or bring in a younger free-agent at his position. Phil knows that he must improve the D-Line and he is clearing the way for that . Can McGinist be far behind ? Being at the bottom of the league in Defense got the D-Coordinator fired and probably will mean 3 or 4 player changes. Look at what was done to the o-line and that will be the fate of the defensive front 7.

Roye was good for awhile. He is 35 and that is pretty old for defensive tackle. Do they still have that old guy from New England and Oakland. I can't remember his name - Johnson??

DA should hurry and sign that is a good offer,3 years - 18 million. Just the signing bonus is worth it. He can always renegotiate for more up front money later, if he gets even better. What I like about DA is he rarely gets sacked. Oh, yeah - I unemployed.

Washington and that should save some money also and we may be able to get red bryant with our current pick. and crable in 3 but it would be nice to get DA to chicago or minnasota and get a couple top 20 picks

This is a big draft year for defensive linemen...we should be out there trying to get a Draft pick for Jerome Harrison who we do not use...There are plenty of teams that need a RB...Including Seattle.

Roye was a good and solid player, and I wouldn't doubt that he comes back for less money. The fact of the matter though is that he's not the player he was, he earned tens of millions dollars and he made hundreds of tackles for that money.

Today, he's not a $3million dollar starting defensive end. Maybe a $900k reserve defensive end instead. Whatever the case, good luck to him, and lets hope Savage spends his money wisely.

We can't move Harrison for a draft pick, or if we can, it'd be a late second day at best. I'd rather have harrison on the roster and use him sparingly then use a 6th round pick on another Chase Pittman.

HAHAHAHAHA!

At least I'm glad I didn't have to correct you again, although it is pretty gay that you posted a response, then re-read what I wrote, mulled it over for a solid 5 minutes until a tiny little light bulb went on above your tiny brain and then posted a semi-apology topped off with saying you'd like to run into me sometime so that you can peace out.

I love the kind of fight where the other guy runs away.

Every single time you post, I think it's the dumbest post I've EVER read, and then you post another one and I stand corrected... THAT becomes the dumbest post ever.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Taurus

Keep calm! Your emotions are becoming increasingly heightened and intense today. As a result, you're likely to take things much more seriously than usual. That's wonderful if you're involved in a hot and heavy encounter with Mr or Ms Right, but it won't be such good news if you go overboard about silly trifles. If you're doing some last-minute shopping you'll want to be as extravagant as your budget allows. Or is it a case of Budget...? What budget?
