Pace is a Beast!!! Glad to have him here.

Play for a winner? Da Bears? I want what he's smokin!

Pace will definitely shore up the Bears' O-line. Now they just need that receiver. Tori Holt?
He sounds like he has the right attitude. So far so good.
Hopefully he and Holt are close. If they are I wouldn't be surprised to see Mr. Holt in a Bears jersey next fall..
Come on, Orlando...help us get Holt
lol, please, if he wanted to play for a winner, he would've chose Baltimore. All about $$.

good luck on the IR this year

Best of luck Big O.........a true class act. Big O has at least 2 years left, enjoy him Bears fans!

This is really good. Guys like Pace and Cutler can really help build a culture of players who actually want to play for the Bears and have pride for their team. It's nice to have a bonafide veteran player who wants to be here rather than a me-first mercenary like T.O. Good player and great character guy. Bears turned their offseason around in one day. Now it's time to complete the makeover and get Torry Holt.

Maybe he can call Marvin Harrison also, line Holt and Harrison up and points will go on the board fast.

What we've done with the o-line this off season is impressive. I'm very surprised in the front office. The guys went out and got people that can really help make a difference. We should be fine guys. If he says he's healthy and feel great, I can't wait to see how comfortable Jay is going to look back there. Teams will either have to blitz more, creating 1-on-1 matchups, or they'll only rush 4 and Jay should be able to pick them apart. The play-action is going to be a beast this year too.
I'm excited. Whoever has anything negative to say about the Bears right now can go $uck one. GO BEARS!!! |

This is just awesome. These Bears are NOT my childhood team (late 60's)- these guys have a real chance to make some noise next year.
Aw man - how cool is all of this? |
Alot of media had Holt about to sign with the Titans or Jags two weeks ago, but since the Cutler trade and his buddy Orlando Pace signed with Chicago things have gotten quiet. I think Pace is going to convince Holt to sign with the Bears! Angelo does not publicly let his interest be known until the last minute. I am willing to bet Holt will be a Bear! We still need to draft a wideout in the 2nd round and then cut ties with Rasheid Davis!!! Holt, Hester, Bennett, and either Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks will make up a solid WR group!!! |
Adding pace may be the most important move the bears have made in offseason. After losing Tait, need a veteran to anchor line. They still should be drafting O line, but now can do it in later rounds and give chance to develop new guys.
Putting Williams at left tackle was gonna be trouble, now he has a chance to play and learn. Good job angelo, now land Holt and Harrison. Get them both, no reason not to with all the money bears saved by trading draft picks and orton. Let's have a strong offense for the first time since Walter retired. |
Go for it now. Holt + Boldin= Bears in the super bowl. Do they have enough cap room? Go BEARS!!!!!!!
So where does Kevin Shaffer fit in now? Can he start at RT? I think the combo of him and Pace would be frickin' awesome!!!! Let Williams back up these two & get another year of learning under his belt. Make it happen Lovie!!!!!!

I LOVE this move...I will love it even more if it brings Holt as well. If that happens, all we need to worry about is how much pressure we can put on the opposing team's QB.

I don't think Holt is a realistic option, and that is because of Torry Holt.
He grew up in NC, played in College in NC, and played for a team that guaranteed him at least nine domed games per year, and another in Arizona, which now has a dome as well. There is a reason he has visited Nashville and Jacksonville, and I think it has to do as much with weather as anything else. I don' t think Torry is too keen on going to play in the elements at the end of his career. |
