Lifting weight and practicing with your teammate to get timing down are totally different. Teams can't make these mandatory but it's widely known all teams expect all of there players to attend unless they are injured. Being in shape doesn't help you in getting a rhythm with your fellow lineman. Were only talking about 3 or 4 days here .

Also , are you telling me mike morris with no professional education on conditioning knows more than the professional staff the vikings employ. Get real you can't really beleive that.Sounds like you are being a homer and just sticking up for birk because he's a homeboy and morris is on the radio.

Are you saying Birk has no rhythm with the rest of his lineman that he's been playing with the past 3-4 seasons? Yeah the coaches expect everyone to be there, but come on, is it really going to hurt the lines rhythm if he misses 3 or 4 days?

How do you know Morris has no professional education? Also, just because you have professional education, doesn't mean you are going to get everyone you train the exact results they are looking for. Obviously Birk believes in this training and is seeing more benefits in this training than he did with your so called "professional education" staff at winter park. And like I said before, if it keeps him healthy, in better shape and his performance increases than of course I don't blame him for sticking with it.

Matt was a company guy years ago. He use to run his mouth about Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper. Let's see how the company treats him now.

Birk is one of the biggest hypocrites I have ever seen. It's always "team-team-team" until he has to pay the price, then it is "me-me-me."

Remember when he wanted his contract guaranteed in case he got hurt?

Sorry, Matt. Your play has slipped and so has your cover. You aren't any different then the guys you complained about like Randy Moss.

Good riddance.

Obviously, there's not much news to write about. In the 1930's, auto manufacturers in this country had real machine gun nests mounted atop their factories and the striking union workers would sneak in to weld some of the doors shut. Birk has the right to skip voluntary outdoor training activities and allow management to better evaluate its other options. Obviously Matty knows the offense by now and the words of negotiation are saved for private meetings. NFL owners don't like the CBA and have given advance notice to allow things time to work out. Wake me up if any real news happens.

I'm was just wondering when SI was going to come out with there fantasy football issue or something in there NFL website page! I am a diehard Vikings fan and
would love to know everybodys fantasy value along with every other teams and players values and when they should be drafted! I have been in a keeper league for 5 seasons now, I was wondering which player i should keep this year, my choices are: Matt leinhart, kellen winslow, or julius jones? In my league each year we get to pick a rookie and have him on our team which counts as are last draft choice. Which rookie running back do you feel is going to have the most productive year? We get to pick the
rookie when we make are first round selection. I have the 3 overall pick! Please give me your input!

Way too much information there, Raider Man.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
