The Bears will never beat the slant route until they start knocking the WR's off their route by jacking them at the line. In other words, stop giving the WR's a 10 yard cushion Babich!!!

I agree with Cheech. I also think Brian Urlacher needs to be utilized better. He should dropping back more often to safeguard against all these short throws that turn into big gains. I think that's why his stats are down this year- too many plays at the line of scrimmage. Teams are going to keep using the three step drop until the Bears can find a way to stop it, and it's wrong that the defensive line is taking all the blame.

Good to hear that lovie thinks it is normal to be frustrated by the bears' now and then and from time to time pass defense. But now that they are ready for those slants and three step drops it must be time to give Babbit more money and a contract extension. If you sign him up now before he learns how to coach you can get him for a lot cheaper and have him for much longer time. Look how well it is working for angelo and lovie.

"Slants don't beat you" The Bears have 4 losses and all can be attributed to lack of defense against the slant in crucial situations. I am now officially scared of Lovie.

Anyone else think Rodgers is going to have a career day? Currently, the most passing yards he has had in a game is 328. I think he will top 350 this Sunday. Our defense gives up career numbers every week, literally.

Cheech said it right off. Our corners are ten yards off the line and never hit anybody, we just let them run by and make a play. I'm hoping that the d-line steps us other wise it's gonna be a long day for us. So BEARS let's remember that we're playing GREEN BAY and to stay in FIRST place. Time to step it up!! GO BEARS!
