The Steelers special teams resembles the Special Olympics, need I say more? Tomlin better not forget to bring the O line this week.

Anybody know whats going on with Troy and Santonio?

They looked a lot better against the Bungles, but maybe they're just more Special than we are. They sure don't have a Josh Cribbs or Leon Washington.

Where's Chidi? From the info I have gathered both Troy and Santonio will be available to contribute to the victory.
Will the O line show up? That depends on Sean Mahan. I believe he has been the weakest link. I'm still puzzeled why they let Chucki go. He is too. I heard that Haynes may be back to replace Najeh who has that mysterious foot ailment. Knowing Haynes, he will be ready...rusty or not. It is his shot to get back where he belongs.

We are the underdog which is good in my opinion. We are always good when everyone is riding the "no one believes" train....

Look at 2005. We took the SB to fill one hand with rings. Lets' start on the other hand. That way we can pimp slap Tom Brady and his squatiots...

I was refering to cheatriots injuries, any news? I heard our guys are in good shape. I think we may get Troy P. back for this game.
I hear Rodney Harrison probably won't play.

What's up Rex?
Good thing for him 'cause Ward would have knocked his punka$$ out! No of the talking heads are predicting Steelers yet, but having read the matchups of both teams I'm liking it more and more. This guy does a great roundup of Steelers news from the web http://www.steelershotline.com
What do you make of Anthony Smith's "guarantee" of a victory? I guess one way of looking at it is that it's like Porter calling the Colts "soft." The team rallied around it and vowed to make his words ring true. Smith goes on to say that the Bengals receivers are actually better than the Patriots' corps. Wow. The report was that Farrior wanted to go over and slap him in the head. I'd much rather that he hadn't said it, since those kinds of things often backfire, but now it forces the Steelers to back him up. The difference is, Porter had a lot more locker-room clout than Smith does, which probably lessens the impact of his words on both the Steelers AND the Patriots. One more scattered thought on this: I guess if you're going to fire up a group on the opposing team, the receivers aren't such a bad group to fire up. Maybe Moss will actually run when he's a decoy this time, but I can't see it affecting receiver play very much.

Hey Rex. I hear you on the Smith verbs, but it is what it is. Whats done is done. The Steelers need to be on fire come Sunday. I believe the PATS are wearing down. But regardless of that WE all know the Steelers "A" game beats them who ever they are..where ever they are...what ever words are spoken!
LETS GO B & G!!!!

I really don't think the cheatriots have the stomach to pound it out with the Steelers. I've been over on the patriots forum off and on the past 2 weeks. They were all talking real big before the ravens game and have been strangely quiet since. I think the ravens bruised them pretty bad. Any news about injuries yet? I know the offense and defense are pretty banged up after monday. Maybe they'll wheel out another free agency relic.
there isnt an injury report because the ravens didnt cause any injuries. you act like the ravens were knocking patriots out the game left and right. brady, like any qb, is going to call out a ref if he gets hit late, why not take advantage of the "peyton manning protection" rules. he doesnt whine in the press conference like the ravens do so you have to respect that.

you can guarantee all you want but every other time ive heard a guy guarantee a win, they lost. also a team that loses to the jets on the road has no business guaranteeing anything.

Without a doubt Tom Brady is a great QB. He will go into the HOF when he's done. As far as the Jets game, I suppose you'll say something similar when A Smith (#27), Jersey Black, White Numerals, Gold trim and Co. back up what they say!

If you see the interview he kind of backed into the statement. They asked if him if he thought the steelers were going to win...Like all players in the NFL he said yeah I think we are going to win. The reporter then asked him if that was a gaurantee...he's just young and got trapped into talking too much.
The last time the Steelers guaranteed a win was when we crushed the colts in the playoffs and it was porter who did the talking. BTW the press had already crowned the colts that year after they went 14-0...just like what's happening to the pats. Once the a team secures a playoff spot the only games that matter are in Jan and Feb.
very true but the veterans in the steelers locker room should be teaching these young guys to not get tricked by the 50 cameras around you at your locker and answer questions better than that. he didnt get tricked into saying that he wanted to shine in the spotlight. anyway im sure his teammates talked to him after and explained thats not the correct way to do an interview.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
