All the fumbling started after the much antisapated game with the Indy Kolts last year in the playoffs. Our first pass went to Todd Heap. As the fans stood to cheer, he fumbled and we have been fumbling ever since. Suggestion -The Ravens should buy a Cadillac and put J. O. behind the wheel and fill the car with Billick, Boller, and Heap so J. O. could drive far far away and stay there. You might even throw Ozzie in there with them.

Why does everyone knock Heap? He's one of the best players on the team and a REAL team player. He's been hurt this year but has been one of the most consistent players we have. If you look at his history he's played MANY more games than he not. So get off of Heap's back already. If you can find another TE that's been more consistent please let me know. I can agree on the others though.

This team quit on it's fans many weeks ago and if we want to sell our tickets we have every right to do so. Don't worry we'll be back next year supporting in full force.
Suggs is a hypocrit, he's about to be a free agent and I'm sure if the money is right he'll be in another uniform next year. |

Suggs is dumber than a box of rocks. I hope he chafes under that Franchise Tag that's going to be slapped on his stupidazz next year. Better yet...C'ya, T-Fizzle! Oh yeah...and BTW -- this article is trash. Nothing but more excuses. Same ol, same ol. |

I suggest that during next years training camp the Ravens concentrate on holding onto the ball. They can start by lining up players side by side and having the receivers and backs run through them while they try to knock the ball out. Sounds a bit like high school but that's the level they've been playing at.
Also, any player seen holding the ball out in the open field should be made to run laps, if only for the embarrassment factor alone. You would think this problem would have been resolved by now, but apparently the Ravens players aren't the best or brightest. |

Fumbles?....get use to it....Ozzie say's McNairs is HIS man next year.....another year of failure coming down the pike....Don't bother holding the ball next year guys.....it might rain, or there may be a lineman rushing!.......HELP!!!!

I think on that same play...Heap also fumbled his nuts and never picked them back up. The reason everyone knocks Todd Heap has NOTHING to do with his ability to play the game....what it does have to do with is the fact that he has milked this injury for all its worth and more. All that ability means nothing if he refuses to get on the field. Everyone loves to blame Billick with the problems on this team. Has he done the perfect job...of course not...but at least he's out there trying to do his job every day....unlike many of his players. As far as bad play calling goes...Michael Irvin used to say all the time back when the Cowboys were great...." It didnt matter what play was called...we were going to put it down whoevers throat that was in front of us" Ive heard talk of the locker room being divided....IMO , Billick expects men to act like men....and if we were winning....Billick would be the greatest coach since Lombardi himeself. I personally think that way too much of this has been piled on his shoulders. A Coach can do all of the preparing....and film watching...and all the things a Head Coach has to do....but he can not go on the field and run the play himself. People say that the only reason Brian Billick was labeled a genius in Minnesota is because he had Moss and Carter and company....yeah...so what. Does ANYONE think the Ravens would be undefeated if we had Bill Belichick and these same players??? I sure dont...I somehow think things would be much the same way. |

Baloney. Even last year with the deceptive 13-3 record, there were fans who understood that we were winning DESPITE Billick, not because of him. And the lousy red zone [lack of] success proves it. Stop making excuses. When a person getting paid $5 million can't field an NFL offense in NINE YEARS, HE'S the problem. Not the OC. Not the O-line. Not the QB. Not the WRs. The HEAD COACH. What part of that do you really not get? Or are you some paid shill here to boost up the deflated lame attempts to cover for a lousy head coach? |

Milked the injury? I'm sorry, you have definite proof of that? You're an idiot. You have absolutely no proof that Heap is milking it. he's been a consistent player for many years. This is the first year he's been hampered with a long standing injury. When you show me proof that you know what youa re talking about then maybe we can talk. Until then, try to say something that doesn't sound so idiotic. |

1. Now come on, man...no name calling, right? 2. Heap missed the better part of 2004, I believe, with that high ankle sprain, didn't he? |
|||

Heap is not even part of the problem on this team and is being counseled not to play at this time although he would like too. This team had almost every bit of good luck they could ever ask for last year and it has been the exact opposite this year. Instead of getting turnovers they have been giving them away.

LOL. The "it's not coaching, skill, will...it's luck" smoke and mirrors approach. It would almost be funny, if it weren't so totally pathetic. |
|||
It is basically the same team as last year and yes "luck" does play a significant part in the outcome of a game or season. Coaching,skill etc. are vital but at the end of the day factors such as injuries,penalties,weather play a huge part in victory. "Luck" is a factor and the Ravens have not had the breaks this year they enjoyed in last seasons 13-3 finish. |

i disagree with the fact if we have a good coach this year we are not looking at 4-12 because we beat miami we beat buffalo split with cincy in baltimore and maybe opening day beat cleveland in baltimore beat ne because we would have controled the clock so i would have us realistically at 9-7 10-6 possiably.When i watch the ravens honestly ray lewis seems to be the only one trying and this year ed reed i almost feel sorry for them both haveing to play with a bad coach and be on the field so long there def earning there pay and ray lewis was the one who made the ravens put them on the map never turned on them played at his level and showed promise in how to never give up wish there were only more people and fans like ray lewis in baltimore.It is our turn now to be supportive and not look at the negatives but positives for example brian billick i agree he has to much on his shoulders thats what a offensive cord is for to call plays i blame ozzie and biscotti for not realizing this last year.But thats the only people to blame if ur willing to point your finger.

1. Xraven=Fortuneteller. How many other posters from Lexington, Ky post back to back? 2. Apparently, you've never heard of the concept that great teams MAKE THEIR OWN LUCK. Luck explanations are for total losers, IMO. |

Todd Heap is a great player when he plays but he is injured too often and misses way too much playing time. If you remember he missed a whole season due to a Hi Ankle Sprain and this yr its his Hammy. I have this discussion with my friend who also is a die hard Ravens fan. I say trade Heap if you can and get something for him, he says keep him he's a Pro Bowler, I say if he never plays so what if he's a Pro Bowler, get some draft picks and rebiuld. Well, the team will keep him and hope he's healthy.
|
||||

The Hi turnovers esp from Qb position are mainly the fault of the OL. Evryone blames Billick, or the QBs but the OL play is terrible this yr and until the OL improves the Offense will not do any better. They need to give Ogden a deadline on returning and make some moves to shore it up, or next season will be more of the same. They also need to consider another vet FA Qb, and better bigger WRs and maybe even a TE if Heap isn't going to stay healthy. An OC to take over the play calling , if all those things happen they might have a chance to compete next yr. But Ozzie can't have another off seasdon like he had last yr letting Thomas go and trading for McGahee, vs keeping Jamal and those 3 draft picks. Was Savage the real brain behind the scenes??? The Ravens will be drafting very hi and Ozzie needs to nail more than just the first rd this yr. Thyey can't wait til Fa is almost over and low ball every player they want.

3 months of Pre camp's... mini camps... training camp.. preseason..get to the first game and drop everything except their drawers....an obvious lack of fundamental's..teams that lack fundamental's beat themselves ...thats what the Ravens have always done. like I said before until this year teams didnt beat the Ravens, Billick beat the Ravens.There could not be a clearer example of that than the New England game...people are still talking about that game.... but Raven's fans were not amazed at that game were used to that kind of unbelievable incompetency.

You have first hand experience with being a "total loser" don't you Skay? |
