''We will prepare the game plan with Troy being the starter in mind ''......what game plan is that? the one that says make sure you dont block anybody and we'l call pass plays that require 5 seconds to complete....the fact that Billick can even say some of the things that He says is Beyond belief , either he's intentionally trying to destroy the team or He is totally detached from any segment of reality....and If I was the owner of this team I would be really nervous right now.

To quote a movie that says it better than I can....in the words of Will Ferrell in Zoolander..."There is no one else, Ballstein."

The story of the Ravens' season...there just is no one else to step up.

Great article and all true....however IMO Todd Heaps toughness is still sketchy but its Christmas and I will let it go. Id also like to point out that Gary Stills was not even mentioned in this article and though he has played all year I believe, he has done it with a bad knee that he injured back in camp. That guy gives a HUGE effort on Special Teams and that knee has slowed him down all year. I still respect Stills as a solid player and from talking to him several times this year and last, he is a really straight forward guy. Im glad to have him around.

Heres to a healthy, active, aggressive, hard hitting, smack-down, focused, well coached, cut the fat, imaginative, talent evaluating, new play-book debugging, coach evaluation, free-agent/rookie orientation process, off-season and training camp.

Wouldn't matter if every one was healthy.Billick would still coach them to a loss. With the injuries he has an excuse.

You know you'll need a new coach for that.

If I was a Raven's player, I"d find a way to be hurt as well. It's dangerous in there with him coaching.

Some guys are milking it, no doubt. Not that I can blame them with this coach. Since when does it take three months for a hamstring to heal?

This season proves we have no depth on this team, from QB to CB. Yes Billick needs to go, out our 'talent' evaluation has to improve.

Ya know 3 of those guys will be gone next season, Rolle, Pryce and McNair. We'll need to address the secondary in the draft b/c C-Mac only has a couple good years left.!st rd get a good CB then in the second get a QB. This draft is loaded with QB's

I'm just curious, Jamison -- if Heap is the key to our red zone "success", and he was healthy all last year, how come we were only 25th or 26th last year in red zone success?(I guess "success" is relative to you, huh?)

To Adam, from Owings Mills: The backup QB was Cullen Finnerty (the QB from GVSU, not Colin Finnerty, the former Duke lacrosse player.)

To Rob, from Vegas: Man...what's up with your keyboard. Yesterday, you were capitalizing the H on He for Troy Smith. Today it's for Brian Billick. What's up with that?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Id rather see McNair, Ogden, Anderson, Williams and Heap gone than Rolle and Pryce. No explaination needed for McNair and Ogden, but Heap is often injured and shows ZERO toughness. Trade his butt away and get all the draft picks you can to replace what we lost in the McGahee deal. Then lets see what Eric DeCosta can really do in the draft. Fill the other voids in free agency.

The problem is not the frequency of Heap's injuries. It is his ability to recover from seemingly minor injuries. He missed most of the season with an ankle injury a few years back and now he missed the bulk of this season with a hammy. It's baffling. Guys with broken legs recover in 4-6 weeks and this guy missed the whole season with a muscle pull.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Leo

A loved one is being rather tetchy today. It won't take much to get on their nerves, even if you think they're being grossly unfair about it. Try not to make the situation worse by being sarcastic or provocative. Instead, encourage them to tell you what's wrong but without raising their voice. Once you know what you've done to irritate them you can start to put it right.
