I heard tonight on the news that M. Vick had a pool in his yard where he would put the dogs in when the dogs were not fighting anymore. To punish or I guess to kill them, he put cables hooked to a battery on each ear of the dog then put them in the water to kill the dog by electrical shock. There were scratch marks found on the side of the water container demonstrating the dogs were trying to scratch their way out of the tub. This man should NEVER be allowed to play professional ball. He is an evil man and has not done time for all his horrible acts againist innocent animals because this evidence was not brought to court. Money talks! May his soul rot in hell!

that account was from one of the rescuers Donna Reynolds. It shows how crazy this is. No, he should not be playing.

I agree with every word and as I have been posting over and over again this freak is as man as a snake and his barbaric, vile, savage and heinous torture of animals proves that he is mentally unbalanced and needs serious help. He has been torturing animals since the age of 8 years up until the time he got caught. He has a very mean streak in him and gets pleasure and entertainment out of mutilating and torturing animals to their death. The very thought of those precious animals screaming in pain as they were being tortured by this beast blows my mind.
He needs to be evaluated by a psychiatrist and/or institutionalized as he is not a normal being as normal people do not tear animals apart for pleasure starting at the age of 8 years. This is unacceptable behavior and he eventually will escalate to torturing and killing humans as has been documented and proven.I do hope that karma will catch up with him soon so he will get what he deserves for what he did to these innocent and helpless animals.

And by the way, the animal cruelty charges were NOT brought to Court because the beast's "buddy" Poindexter, dropped the charges as he knew those charges would have increased the sentence he received from the Judge quite a bit. Yes, "money talks" and that's the name of the game. However, that being said, I am confident that justice will be served as karma is right behind him and he will get what's coming to him for the vicious and heinous torture he inflicted on helpless and innocent animals.

Michael vick is a profoundly damaged human being, one of millions in this country who clearly have been so brutalized in life that all they can think to do for fun is to brutalize others - humans, animals, anything that moves and breathes. Vick is a moral leper.

If Michael vick could really face the music, honestly open up and cop to everything that he did, and fully own up to the horror in front of the public, I think I could start to forgive him. I'm sure it would be hard for Vick, and forgiveness would be hard for me. But there is a legitimacy to the principle of "moving on." The important things are these:(1) don't confuse moving on with forgetting or denial, and (2) don't confuse moral assessments with legal ones.

how many times does he have to do that. people have done far worse and didn't apologize at all, and they are allowed forgiveness and a second chance. but i guess the real issue is vick doesn't need your forgiveness. Stop tryiing to make yourself important, the people that are important in vick's life have forgiven him and allowed him a second chance, that alone should tell you, your forgiveness mean close to nothing (if not nothing).

I had no idea that he electrocuted them slowly in a swimming pool? Who but a sociopath freak would do that. Torturing dogs is evil and "the gateway drug" to torturing people. This man should be ashamed to show his face in public and should still be in prison. "Vick supporters" pull your heads out of your butts. Being born with an athletic talent is a gift that beast doesn't deserve.

sure you did, you knew exactly what vick was accused of, you should be ashamed of yourself for lying and pretending you didn't know until now the circumstances surrounding this case.

Vick COULD redeem himself somewhat by taking the right stance on this matter. humans are capable of rather extreme changes in moral position in the course of one life. sincere remorse and acceptance of his responsibility for his actions would be significant. however his "not guilty" plea for cruelty to animals, and the fact that the plea as accepted to get him out and back in the game making money for the NFL as soon as poss, makes the legal system and the NFL supporters of animal cruelty rather directly. Fk the NFL and everyone in it. cowards should fight each other, not a helpless dog. i'm done with them. they are neither sportsmen nor gentlemen until they face this correctly.

Since Vick seems to have no compassion or conscience, we have to have it for him. He is just such a loser and I wish nothing but bad luck for him so he can know a tiny fraction of what his victims suffered.

I live in Philly we are all puzzled as to wtf is he doing here beside taking up space and air? We do have one theory:

Jeff Laurie Eagles owner and grand merchandizer, needed a shield to evade/deflect criticism away from his golden boy and load McNabb. McNabb is a nice guy but can't play consistent for ST. Laurie makes thousands from : McNabb bobble head dolls, programs, jerseys ect. As long as people buy those, he will not change the QB position. Laurie knew if a distraction wasn't deployed, the noise to pull McNabb would have gotten louder. Last three seasons McNabb falls down and "Gets Hurt", usually at the end of a cruddy season.

THis year #4 he fell and got a boo boo in game three and was out. WE put in Cobb who throws for over 300 yds 2 consecutive games. McHagg gets better goes back in and we are back to losing. Jeff Laurie would LIKE to win a superbowl, but DOESN'T WANT TO.
