And another Mandinka warrior bites the dust! Michael Strahan and those other mindless individuals who support Burress are indicative of the low moral values in this country; we revere thugs and other assorted low-life like heroes! Burress will do his time and the NFL will welcome him back with open arms to take his place with the other ex-cons and thugs in the NFL. Burress thought he was a tough "somebody" carrying a loaded gun in a public place; now he's just a convict. He doesn't look so tough now.

So nice of Mayor Doofburg to be supportive of his city/state sports star! He is not a criminal who had a gun to cause harm to anyone he only had it to probably protect himself since he is a star and had an accident which injured him not anyone else! Making him go to jail proves and solves nothing! Why not go after the real criminals? Mayor Doofburg is such an a*&hole for talking junk about him openly to make a name for himself that I hope he doesn't ever get re-elected for NY. I'm sure many other NY citizens agree with me and if not then you are all just as bad as your wonderful Mayor! I hope he can sleepo at night wiht himself knowing he sent someone to jail for nothing. you could have monitored him while he was out and let him stay by his family idiot!

You would think the guy could have afforded a bodyguard or two if he was concerned about his safety.

He sends a bad message to anyone especially a child who thinks this guy is great. He will soon be only be remembered for the bad he did and not the good.

He was wrong in what he did and he will now pay the price as criminals should.

He got caught, you didn't. If you got caught for evey single time you broke a law, you'd be roomies with Bubba.
