Ty Law huh? Maybe he is familiar with the system we run???.....

One good thing about having a guy like that even if his age has made him somewhat slower, he is like having another secondary coach on the sideline and on the field helping our inexperienced DBs. Hopefully he will be a good addition

Ty Law????

There's a reason he hasn't played or been on a team this season...

Yeah, because he's rich and he doesn't HAVE to play...Still, if we pay him what he wants, and we have the cap room to do so, he's an immediate upgrade (and a pretty big one). Considering that our only good corner is now banged up, this might be a good band-aid to get the team through the year before overhauling the secondary in the offseason

Did I just read that Sparano was speaking highly of J. Allen at CB???? Am I missing something? Why hasn't he been played there yet?

I say sign him to a two year deal,we can't get any worse. Then pick up a corner in FA or with one of our first two picks in the draft(which will be a defensive draft for us). With Vernon,Crowder beeing fa next year and Ronnie the year after it will be hard to determine if we would sign a guy like Asomugha I think he is making close to 8 million this year alone,we could find another right tackle or linebacker in the draft but to early to tell I would love to draft eithe Victor Harris,Maualuga or Laurinaitis though.

So he's rich??? They all are.... how is he an "upgrade" other than in "past" reputation??

If he was worth a damn, he'd be on an NFL roster by week 6...

New system, is he in "game" shape relaxing in S. Beach, enjoying that $$$ and retirement....

It's a stretch at best..

Ty Law? Hmmm....... alright. He would fit my mold for grooming the young bucks that we SHOULD be drafting next year at CB.

This isn't Saban's defensive playbook anymore. The personnel we have aren't fitting into the new playbook. Ty would obviously be a stop-gap, but I'm with it if he's in football shape. His football intelligence and knowledge is to be highly regarded, just ask Asante Samuel. I'm with this, to be sure.

GO PHINS!!!

Look, please people stop freaking out about this years team. The goal this yearand next is to draft young talent and BUILD for the future, for years of winning. THis team is doing fine, winning is good but seeing the young guys improve and collecting draft picks are what this team is about the next couple years. What I like about this team is the accountability, and that starts from the top down. Keep up the great work from management.

I was like, hes got to be older than dirt by now, so forget him... Hey, I say if hes still got game then let him play, things cant get much worse back there... Keyshawn anyone??? GO PHINS!!!

this would be a great pickup for MIA and it will stir up more rivalry in the AFC east of players going back in forth between fellow division rivals.

I say sign him for two years. We can't get any worse back there.
The Dolphins seem competitive now. An improvement in the secondary might be just enough to get that win against Houston.

That was a great strategy in 1970! Nowadays, you can't keep the players around long enough to take years.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Taurus

Someone simply isn't being realistic or practical today, Taurus. He or she seems to be lost in a dream world of wishful thinking and idealism, none of which has much to do with what's really going on. Unfortunately, they won't want to hear any of this and may even manipulate the situation so they don't have to listen to your opinions. Be careful when dealing with this character and try not to get sucked into this desire to escape reality at all costs.
