YEP! Just when things look like they are gonna turn around, half the team is gonna go down in the next 2 games. I think we will start with Joey, being they used his interview for this. OH-NO! GO PHINS!!! |

I think the fear of losing your job with the fins that Joey referred to has a lot to do with the injuries. A lot (not all) of pro athletes (not just NFL) see little bumps and bruises as possible resume red flags and therefore sit out hoping it wont affect the next contract. I don’t think there are a lot of “contract guys” on this team.

I've noticed the Dolphins injury report has been mostly empty this season. Here's hoping the trend continues.

Frankly, it does take a little luck to be injury-free, but I don't see any reason to be superstitious about it.
Parcells is definitely right, though, that a team's overall health is a precondition for success. Take last yr's Dolphins as an example, or this yr's Patriots or Steelers. The latter two may see their playoff hopes significantly impacted by injuries to key players. Let's hope we can stay healthy. And GO PHINS! This week's game is a big one for the organization. |

Maybe its because Parcells and CO. Had the team doing vicious offseason training. The more you prepare for the season the less chance you have of getting injured. Everyone made it to the offseason program except, Jason Taylor and look where he is at now.
