Well, This could be a blessing in disguise, if they do sign Blackstock. He would be cheaper, and possibly as good with the right coaching. I wonder how much of the Taylor rumors affected Paces decision? Oh well, if it meant to exodus of Porter, it wouldnt have significantlky improved the defence anyway. I think Joey would do good in Parcells system being he was in a 3/4 his whole career.

Tuna most of choked while eating at Joe Stone Crabs when he heard the Jets Overpaid for Pace while he was laughing so hard. He did what he planned, made the Jets cash strapped for years to come. If he really wanted Pace he would of paid the extra money for him! Tuna would never overpay for a one hit wonder!
Didn't the Jets beat the Steeler last year by putting BIG BEN on his ass? Who was on that Steelers o-line, Fenica! I like the o-lineman we got from SF much better as he has way more years in him and he helped Gore rush for big yards in 06. LB'S are a plenty in this draft if we need one and we wont have to break the bank like the Jets Did. Got to love Tuna toying with the NJ Jets!

Jason Allen had a good year, with all the trouble they had putting a pass rush on teams, mostly New England, he wasn't that bad, save when he fell against Cinncinati and got burned. All in all, he made a huge stride. If he is more consistent, he can be a good safety. They do need somebody who can push him though for the starting position. I'm interested to see if they go with the best defensive player in the draft(Long/Gholston), or if they stick to their needs and draft Jake Long. He has to prove to the scouts that he is good against speed rushers. I think he is pretty good, very similar to Joe Thomas. You have to be good to give up one sack the whole year.

If guard is an issue why not resign Rex haddnot who was acknowledged as the best lineman by the team and the press?

WHY DIDN'T MIAMI GO AFTER FLORENCE OR REEVES FOR THE CB POSITION? BOTH WOULD HAVE BEEN POTENTIAL STARTERS AND PROVIDED MUCH NEEDED DEPTH AT THE POSITION. DOES MIAMI HAVE A DEAL WORKED OUT WITH ATLANTA TO SWAP PICKS AND GET HALL IN EXCHANGE?

I guess it's back to square one for you losers. Not signing Pace put a serious dent in Parcells plans.

Did you watch game film of what happened to us last year when we overpayed a free agent LB for that money? Hope you look forward to all that disappointment this year.

Yep, just like Parcells asked BC for a tape of every throw that Matt Ryan has made during his college career.....LOL!!!!

It's all a smokescreen by the Tuna, and right now it looks like people are taking the bait!!!!

PS...How on earth does Pace get a better deal then Lance Briggs?????

Dent???? What the s/h/i/t are you talking about??? And call us bitter Fins Fans all you want, but on Sportscenter last night even Mark Schlereth said the Jets deal they gave Pace is one of the worst in the history of Free Agency! And last I checked Schlereth is a former All-World guard, and not affiliated with the Dolphins in anyway. But what do we know, we are just bitter Fins Fans.........LOL!!!

$22mil guranteed for Calvin Pace..........sorry everytime I see that I nearly fall of my chair with laughter!!!!!

He picked the MIGHTY JETS despite being hounded by the dolphins. At least we know Pace is a genius.

I wouldn't work for Parcells either. Parcells is a bully. What an arrogant SOB. How dare him state that Taylor will either be a dolphins or retire?

Players will tolerate him because they want to keep their paycheck but they won't put their necks on the line for him.

ELITE players will NOT tolerate him and instead will choose to participate in off season shenanigans like dancing with the stars in Sodom & Gomorah (aka California).

ELITE players will not tolerate him and will sign with other teams before choosing the dolphins.

ELITE players will have mysterious injuries until released or traded.

Parcells will bring stability to the dolphins. Last year they only won ONE game. This year they will overachieve and win ONE game.

STABILITY ANYONE?

LMFAO
