They had a scoreless first half against a wild card team in a playoff game. If I were the Colts I would rather play them than the Jags. I'm just telling it like it is.

Another reason why I totaly disagreed when Dungy started resting the starters when they were 13-0 two years ago and we all know what happened in the first game of the playoffs against Pittsburg. One of those last games that year that the Colts did not take seriously was against San Diego when they came in and beat the Colts in the dome. Now the Chargers have that game to give themselves confidence to say that they can beat the Colts in The dome because they did it 2 years ago. As much as I hate the Patriots, I have to admire that they went balls out to win every game which creates attitude, confidence and momentum going into the playoffs.
Another case in point is the Giants played all out in their game aginst the Patriots last week even though the game meant nothing. They come back and beat Tampa in Tampa the next week.

Yes the Chargers use to have to Colts #, but Drew Brees isn't your QB anymore. Rivers is not that good.

Let's see the Colts threw 6 INTS's in the last game and missed 2 field goals and they lost by 2 at San Diego.

Let me make a guarantee. Manning will not throw 6 or probably even 2 FG's against SD. Vinateri will not miss 2 field goals unless he's kicking from 50+ and the Colts won't lose by 2. They'll win by 7-10.

Look at the opponesnts of the Chargers who they have beaten recently. Gee they beat Tenn 17-6 at home and the Colts 3rd team loses to Tenn 17-10.

SD use to scare me. They don't anymore. I doubt they scare many people. I need to double check, didn't you lose Antonio Gates. If you did, it'll prob be more of a blow out. Colts only need to shut down Ladanian and Rivers won't do much. Better learn how to do silent snap counts cause SD won't hear a thing in the dome.

The Chargers are goingto surprise some people. Dolts fans are going to get a rude awakening when LT has a great game. The ante is pushed up for a playoff team. The Chargers are very dangerous.
This will be the upset of the playoffs as the Patriots "cruise" to another Super Bowl. The window for the Dolts just closed. Injuries, retirements and free agency will make the Dolts a 9-7 team next year.
Dungy was typical Dungy. He rested the starters!
Their will be no emotion next Sat. Swift move coach!!!

I think you've been sampling a bit too much of your own fine beverage. We were supposed to be 9-7 this season, remember. The experts were only off by 4 games. I will enjoy watching your team disintegrate when Randy Moss melts down and blames Brady or The Hoodie for the loss this week or the next.

I'm sure the Colts will be favored to beat the Chargers next week, but they will need to play much better than they did when the teams last met in November. Or maybe the Colts were trying to lose that game to the Chargers just like they did in their game with the Titans.

The Colts will handle the chargers with ease. 17 points will not be enough to win in Indy. The only question will be if we get another home game in the Play Offs. The Jags should at the very least, soften up the already soft pats.

Charges did indeed get the win; however, I would be a little bit embarrassed that Manning threw 6 Ints and still out-played Rivers. I wouldn't bet on a Sproles repeat. I only worry about Tomlinson but Sanders should keep him in check. Enjoy the Indy cold for a weekend because your team will be vacationing back home in 2 weeks.

I hope that the colts take this game as seriously as the few colts fans posting here are... And for those who are automatically discounting rivers, hoping that if you stack the box against LT you have a great chance of blowing out the chargers, Rivers won the game against the titans sunday... you keep believing SD is one dimensional... it plays to their strength.

The dangerous team you talk about is the one coming to Foxboro (yes, I spelled it correctly!!!- kiss off) Saturday.
And the upset of the playoffs will happen then. If the Patsies somehow luck out another week, there won't be a upset the following week - the Colts will beat them by 10+.

And even Bill Bellicheat can't prevent that!

Chargers should be no problem. The Jags will upset the Patriots. A close win for the Colts in the AFC Championship, then another Super Bowl win!!

The AFC games this weekend played out as well as Colts fans could have hoped. None of us wanted to have to beat Jacksonville a third time this year. We ALL want to take revenge on San Diego for that loss earlier this year. A game we still should have won even after 6 picks and missed field goals. We are just a better team than San Diego. Yeah they have won 7 in a row, but two of those were against Tennessee and 4 of the 7 were against non-playoff teams.

Very early on still, but things are lining up just like they did last year. We will see what Jacksonville can do against NE. I dont like their chances, but I guess they have as good a shot as anyone else could. If its bad weather for that game I think it could be very very interesting.

Thank you San Diego for getting that W.

I agree that the Chargers will be no problem for the Colts, but neither will the Jags be for the Patriots. They looked befuddled in the 2nd half playing a mediocre Steelrs team. In fact the only team that looked good enough to get into the Super Bowl this weeekend was the Seahawks.

San Diego will not repeat their win over the Colts earlier this season. SD barely beat the Titans. A team who almost lost to a Colts team of mostly backups the week before.
The Colts will be ready to defend their Super Bowl title. They've tasted a Super Bowl victory and they are still hungry.

#1 - LT has done next to nothing all year, and against the Colts D, he will continue that trend.

#2 - The biggest concern for next year's free agents are Sanders and Clark. Sanders already has a contract, so worse case scenario Clark gets the franchise tag.

#3 - It is your precious Pats who play Saturday. Colts play Sunday. Might want to check the TV guide before you post!

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Leo

If you look closely, you'll see a black cloud hovering over a loved one's head. They'll find the smallest excuse for losing their temper or throwing a tantrum, so tiptoe around them or try to jolly them out of their filthy mood. If the situation continues you may decide that it would be better to get the inevitable argument out of the way than to pussyfoot around them any longer.
