Tom Cable on what is next for the Oakland Raiders

It really seems to me that a lot of the run defense problems were Rob Ryan's lack of blitzes despite having speedy linebackers in Tom Howard and Kirk Morrison that could get the job done. I keep telling myself that the new defensive coaching staff will solve that and we will be a better football team.

i agree with texas raider. i stil think there will be a few more moves before the season. so far we should give tom cable some time, he seems to be putting a good team together. he has the raiders on track to end this losing streak.it starts with keeping the leaders and talent in the locker room.then add good hard working rookies.these guys have to gel. then they have to learn how to win.then make the playoffs.now this may take a year or two,but they or on the right track.i think the raiders will become great again.it just takes time.they can't afford to draft or bring in jerks like years past.ie; moss and sapp.who come here for money and take plays off.if you get a vet. he must bring knowlege and a pro attitute that rubs off on the young players.

Tom will be the scape goat like the other thanks to Al Davis and his lame player choices. Tom is a good guy too.

Well I wont take the blame so someone else has to. Tom is at the top of my list if dont make the playoffs this year. I have serveral other puppet Raider coaches to put in his position.
