the packers top priority are not linebackers or safteys and they need to trade for an older veteran takle. What they need to draft is a faster running back that will play on third down and can return kicks
however yes a corner would be nice

The most crucial need that the Packers have for the 2010 draft is someone to conduct it. Ted Thompson and his failure will not cut it any longer. Of course, if finishing 2nd or 3rd in the division and rarely making the playoffs is the goal, the Packers should stick with TT. If the Packers hope to improve to the next level they must hire a GM capable of building a team that can beat our division rivals.

The Packers don't need to hire a better GM because they will fill the stadium regardless. However, there is no logical reason to continue with the TT 20 year rebuilding program. The Packers were a regular winner, playoff team and division champ prior to TT. The fact that TT needs to engage in a lengthy rebuilding program is proof that the Packers can and should hire someone better. No true Packer fan can be against being better. One division title for the Packers in 5 seasons is not better, unless you are a Viking fan.

i think we shud draft like this

1. LT (charles brown fits the scheme perfectly)
2. CB (maybe parrish cox will be available there, hes got good size and speed with some return ability
3. HB (hopefully a guy like joe mcknight or noel devine is available at this spot. we need a back who can be explosive nd also catch like a leon washington or a brian westbrook for mccarthys offense.
4.*if we get rid of Kampman* OLB (i think brad jones will be pretty good but you could always use a guy to rotate in with him nd poppinga.
5. DL (we are likely to lose pickett to free agency do we need another d-lineman to rotate with raji, jenkins and jolly....nd we dnt know about harrell yet.
6. S (for some reason in every draft ive seen a good safety seems to fall to rounds 5-7...behing bigby nd collins we have nothing.
7 OL (depth)

I hope they look at FA. The Pack has plenty of young talented players, they need a better mix of Vets, like a Peppers, look how he man handled the Vikes with his pass rush. Trade picks and get some good quality Vets in here.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Pisces

There's a clash today between the past and the present. Someone wants to dwell nostalgically on the good old days but someone else is determined to forget all that and only concentrate on the here and now. The trouble is that neither side will want to concede to the other person's point of view, leading to bad feelings and upsets. If you are one of these people, try not to be too entrenched in your own opinions.
