I hate the NFL draft. Okay, it's not the draft I hate, actually. It's the numbingly excessive hype, the mock drafts, the same-day declaration of winners and losers, the five hours it takes to get through the first round, the pontification, the overstatement.

This is sooooo true. I'm a Skins fan and this is EXACTLY what is going on. Dan Snyder is an idiot who pops a woody for every potential 'star' that is brought to his attention by the media. If Seattle doesn't take him as a successor to Hasselbeck, Sanchez should drop to the Jets simply because he's not ready and not even close to being one of the better players in the 1st round.

What ever happened to actual game tape footage of the player you are drafting. I dont want to hear a has been player talking about michael crabtree when we are in the seventh round. They are not even mentioning the players the teams are picking.
They should change the name from "draft day" to "My babbling is more importrant than the current pick on the board". At least acknowledge the players name.
