This is such a homer article. sure the ravens played well against the Steelers, but they still lost. The two opponents they did beat have a total of one win combined, of which was only because they've played each other. A little premature for "The Rise".

Don't be all gushy about the raven's offense just yet. You still have a rook at qb, an ojt offensive line, you are down to using a fullback (and a slow one) at tailback, and Cam's offense cannot be spreading the ball around all that much if Mason has over 50% of the catches for the entire team. I know it was a "feel good" article, Ken, but come on.

A "slow Fullback" at running back that consistently ran over the Steelers on Monday night. He gained an extra yard or two after contact as he pushed past the Pittsburgh defenders. He even got outside a couple of times for big runs. I guess if he's slow then the Steeler defenders are stuck in cement.

The ravens will continue to get better and all you haters better be ready to jump on the bandwagon when it happens. Flacco will be our future QB and our young O line will continue to get better. As for calling Mclain slow....just remember Mike crack killed applejack !

Everything is premature. Does anybody really know how Flacco will perform in the long run? Where's the receivers? Besides Sharp, and Heap early on name some. And those guys are TE's. Why get rid of Travis Taylor, and draft Mark I Am not Physical Enough Clayton. His play is a mirror image of Taylor. Williams is a question mark. He is not a big play maker, and again like Clayton is not Physical enough. Neither know how to catch. Heap? What happened. The Defensive Secondary is mediocre. I am not a big Redskins Fan, but they have an excellent Secondary. No Rolle, no win. What happened to the Offensive Line Monday Night? They blew it at the end of the game. This team has those issues to address before they can start talking about surprises after 3 games. I do like what I see from Flacco, and if he had a big play receiver, and maybe one more Mason Type (Possession) receiver they could have some success. Psst. Joe. Hold on to the ball. STOP WITH BRAINLESS PENALTIES! I wish them the best, and I like Harbough. I think he needs some time to put a team together, and unlike Billick, I don't think he is full of shit!

Do people in Baltimore truly think the Ravens are going to finish the season with a winning record?

Back on top of the NFL....that's a joke right?

LOL at putting the Ravens with the top tier teams. They aren't even the best team in their division...who they just lost to. This writer will look extremely foolish when the Ravens go 5-11.

Ravens beat two bad teams at home and LOST to the Steelers.

I am optimistic. The Giants Won the Super Bowl last year, and started 0-2. And they were 8-8 the year before that. Who the hell would have picked them. But alas I am a realist and still think to many pieces of the puzzle are not there, along with an aging football team to do it. A Win is a Win, but if I was in Pittsburgh I would not be lining up for SB Tickets either. Who have they beat? Besides the Ravens. Hint, the same teams the Ravens have.

I will be rooting for the Ravens at M&T this sunday. Looks like we picked a good game to buy tix for this year. Just heard Rolle is out for a month with neck surgery earlier this week. That is a huge loss that will be very difficult to paste over unless one of the backups imporves drastically and plays out of his mind. I'll hope for the best. As far as being elite, I love the Ravens, but they are not an elite team yet.

Ravens are not top of the NFL, but their schedule is not as insurmountable as it appeared earlier in the year. Bengals and Browns are in the process of imploding, Colts have fallen off. Dolphins and Raiders are beatable. If they play well at home and can beat either the Redskins or Jaguars at the end of the season, yes they could finish with a winning record. Who is your team, Artie?

Wow talk about blind homers, you think they can be succesful and have a winning record when they havent played any team from the NFC East or AFC South which are widely considered the two best divisions in the NFL. You sir are a dullard without a clue

Aren't you the Deadskins fan? Congratulations on your win against the Cowboys. Your hating on the Ravens is no surprise based on your previous comments.Yes, I think the Ravens can beat the Steelers, Dolphins, Raiders, Browns (again), Bengals (again), Jaguars, and maybe steal one from the NFC east although, yes it would be a tall order. They do play the Eagles and Deadskins at home so it's a possibility. Yes their sched has some tough games.. geeze it's only predictions. Lighten up.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Gemini

It's easy to become distracted and confused because your mind is wandering about in all sorts of different directions. You're also in a highly impressionable state so will believe almost anything you're told now, whether it's true or a total flight of fancy. Be wary of muddling others by only telling them half the story or letting your imagination fill in any gaps.
