The fault for this loss lies on the Bears Defense. Grossman was fine. As usual, he is held up to ridiculous standards. Why is he not allowd to have a turnover in a game. Look at the NFL, most Quarterbacks have at least a fumble or an interception in most games. He didn't throw an interception and his numbers were fine. If Benson would have made that 4th and 1, this game would have been a lot different.

Grossman played fine. I don't like him, but you have to give credit where it is due. Hasselbeck is not particularly good, much, much better than Grossman though. The Bears defense made Hasselbeck look like Joe Montana!! Smithie Love is clueless, and the Bears appearance in the Superbowl was a fluke, due to an unusually weak schedule.

Sorry, but play-calling and coaching were the real loser last Sunday.
Seattle faces a fourth and one and passes for ten yards. Chicago faces a fourth and one and tries running up the gut and gets stuffed. Does anybody see some sort of predictability here? Speaking of predictability, Hester on an end around? As usual, the quarterback is the most exposed player on the field. What is the main difference between our QB and theirs? Ours stands there and gets sacked or hurried, theirs can actually move, improvise, and make a connection with his receiving corps. How many Hasselbeck completions came as he was in the process of being tackled? Four? Five? Sorry, Bears fans, this team has a long way to go before it can play with the rest of the league. |

i'm a die-hard bears fan. ok got that outta the way. the bears look awful...on both sides of the ball. benson can't get four or five yards with and offside penalty. the secondary couldn't cover a bed with a blanket. why ddn't lovie just kick the field goal when we got that fumble deep in seattle territory. he's been coaching since benson has been there, he should know by now he can't get the big yard. i love rex, but he's got to hang on to the ball in the clutch. otherwise, he played a good game. people can't keep blaming him when the D gives up 30 everyweek. The bears should and need to be in playoff mode, because now it's one and done time.

Why did Hester let the kicker Josh Brown bring him down?

The Kicker goes wide right....might as well be Grossmans fault, Ha Some people, there is more to football than the QB.
