USC apologizes for saying Notre Dame Irish stopped fighting

Always thank your opponent, humble in victory, gracious in defeat. If you humiliated your opponent on the field, let that (and everyone else) do the talking for you. Thumping on your chest, tooting your own horn, even when earned, makes you look arrogant and brash. Let's act like we've been there before. This is a young team that needs to grow up quick in light of the situation we are in.
