I have to say I was disappointed with the release ofLionel Gates. I thought he proved himself to be a strong and effective runer not only in this preseason, but, last season as well. While I am disappointed, I am not surprised. Anthony Thomas is a "Juron guy" from his days with the Bears. I guess Juron has a comfort level with Thomas that he hadn't developed with Gates. I truly hope that some team picks Lionel up. He can be a very effective back in the NFL.
