I for one will be very disappointed if the Chiefs do not make the decision to tell Larry it's time to part ways. He has been given more chances than most to get his act together and has chosen not too! What will he do or say next? Will they just stand by him no matter what he does? It's not just the gay slurs, it is what he has said about Coach Haley and his past. I thought up until now, that he had changed and matured during the off season, but needless to say I was wrong. If the top dogs of the Chiefs decides to keep him, my husband said this will be our last year being season ticket holders. We have been patient, die hard fans, spending 100's of dollars each game only to be continually disappointed in all aspects of the Chief's organization. If I read the above story correctly, Larry's agent basically is saying that Larry will be playing next week and will be making $330,000.00 since this was a bye week, it sounds to me as though he will not miss any of his weekly paychecks even though he made gay slurs, disrespectful statements about Coach Haley, and his performance on the field has been poor. What does this say about the Chief's organization decision making? It is time for him to move along and find a team and fans that will tolerate his behavior and willing to continue to make him rich so that we can stop wondering what will he do next to embarrass the organization as well as the fans!

Larry Johnson is a talented athlete. But being a talented athlete and a role model are two different things. And being mature and an athlete are also different things. Unfortunately, Larry Johnson has proven he can't be all of those things at once. Many of these athletes feel their on field performance is all that matters, and that is incorrect, at least in Kansas City. We demand the whole package. We'll forgive a few off field indiscretions; Just ask Lenny Dawson or George Brett, but it's the whole package that we expect, and Larry Johnson seems to consistantly fail to deliver, regardless of his intentions. It's time that he either grows up and apologize and make amneds, or he needs to go somewhere where he'll fit in better. We have sent many a qualified athlete packing for less, and Larry has been childish and immature too many times to convince me that he's capable of changing his ways. Thanks for all you did, Larry, and good luck, but goodbye.

What's a young Chief's fan to do? If my son tried to live like this Roll Model, He would be in jail by age 13.
When a player makes the money he does, a 330,000. reduction is like a slap on the hand. That tells his fans you can pay your way out of anything. I say Send him on his way and get someone in there that likes and Wants to play Football. Players now a days get paid way to much for the job they do.
Just my Opinion.

I feel Larry Johnson should be taken off the team not just a short time suspension. He brings the whole team down. IF this was a frist time thing that would be different but he add's nothing to the team. HE never really tried to be apart of the team or go the extra mile. He only wants glory for himself. The Chiefs are a team of eleven not one.

I stated when he got in trouble with the lady they need to get rid of this trouble maker. He can't or won't pull his own weight on the field , and last year was a joke. He needs to let someone who wants to play take his place. Someone who makes that kind of money should be charged with grand theft because he has not earned his paycheck for two years. The Chiefs have enough to get done besides babysitting a trouble maker.

I say not only the chiefs, but the NFL should fire and ban his stupid spoiled wannabe football playing ass! Yes that's right I said wannabe cause that's just it, he doesn't play GOOD football anymore. It's sad to think what money does to some people. And as for the Chiefs Football Organization, grow some effing balls would you, holy hell, i say bench the little prick for the rest of his contract here. Dont pay him a single freaking dime that you dont have to. And then trade him to the freaking Broncos!

That's ridiculous. They should suspend him for much, much longer. He doesn't deserve to play for KC, or anyone for that matter.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aquarius

If you're still happily munching chocolates and all sorts of other goodies, you'll have to take yourself in hand at some point during the coming fortnight. Maybe you'll have to compensate for all the festive over-eating by taking more exercise or cutting back on the calories, or perhaps you'll decide that you can't delay giving up smoking any longer. As Mercury turns in your twelfth house of secrets, messages you receive at this time may be very subtle or contain hidden meanings meant only for your understanding.
